I recommend intermittent fasting, with an early dinner so that you have time to digest it and follow with an evening walk to help digest your food. Fasting feels great, but starvation mode undoes it all. As for fast food... If you feel a screw-up comin' on, share a burger. Seriously, white knuckle deprivation sucks. Discuss limiting your fast food dates to no more than once a week, if that. Make it special, even let him order the burger, then share it half and half. Finish with a romaine heart from the grocery store and a walk in the park to help you digest it. Same with ice cream. If it's just you, get the smallest size, finish with a handful of nuts/seeds, and go for a walk. If there's a fast food restaurant, there's likely a nearby grocery store. You're doing well. I'm proud of your efforts.

Don't be discouraged by the weight gain. I'm sure things will even out a bit after you move in with your friends, you will be less stressed and hopefully less inclined to indulge yourself in food ❤
