About Vantastic: We are a happy couple who got rid of everything to travel the world. We make vlogs sharing our daily lives in a camper van, our ups and downs, and our adventures around Europe.
What camera equipment do you use?
We use GoPro10, Røde VideoMicro with a dead kitten, Ulanzi tripod mt-16, Ulanzi cage G9, Ulanzi vl49 light, DJ Mavic Pro drone and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the vlogs. Our electrical power set-up in our camper van allows charging our camera and laptops to film and edit.
What is your van?
Our camper van is Fiat Ducato 2015, Adria Twin conversion panel van. We have done only minor upgrades and mods to our camper van, we pretty much love it as it is.
How do you afford your nomadic lifestyle?
We live on a true shoestring budget. We travel economically, we cook all our meals, we dont visit tourist traps, we enjoy being in the nature and hiking in the nature. We worked traditional office jobs for years and now we live on our savings and investments. We dont believe you need tons of money to to pursue your passion. However, we have learned that you do need to sacrifice comfort, consistency and safety, but that it is possible, very worth it, and the only lifestyle that makes us truly happy!

Call us naive, but our goal is to travel forever.

It's so nice of you to call our country HOME. You can not be disapointed in Evia. As far as the "gyros" power, one of the best easy to prepare meals. I wish we were there, we miss the swim in those waters. You know the village we usualy stay, is not that far. By the way, try the beaches at the other side of the island, the ones at the Aegean.

wellcome to Greece again , you know that these days in Greece is calling small summer , until one week again , after that is coming thw winter ,also this year it was the hottest ever. Good idea for winter is the place Mani in south Peloponnese.

Wow! You were very lucky to see a Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus monachus). It is an endangered species and protected, Its entire world population is estimated to be less than 700 individuals

We are usually in places where is no motorboats and 99% time on the coast. I think we have seen six of them in Greece. It gives us a huge smile always seeing them and making the *hush* sound when coming up from long dive.

Monk seals are so cute 😊 We are so lucky to be in Greece and not Finland. Novadays we are so spoiled with warm weather, I dont think we could survive long dark frozen winter in a camoer van anymore 🥶 Just the tought of it gives us chills.

To energize the gluten on a slightly stale (or dry) baked good you have to heat it up. This will make it more chewy?/soft. Throw it in the oven for a bit or toast it on a pan. It makes a difference

Thank you for the tip of making pita bread softer. We have started to sprinkle a little bit of water when we toast the bread in a pan, it helps a little. But this new pita brand with holes in it, is not as good as the old soft brand. 😢 Our problems are this level can you imagine 😊😆

Hahaha, we just need to buy a winter vest so we are genuine Hellenic after that. Ducatos handbrake is sheit especially after you have changed the pads. Even if the pads are OEM it doesnt work properly. 😁
