I've NEVER had any experience with it because anywhere I go that has rooms/walls full of trombones, it's always out of stock 😐 Hopefully I can finally get my hands on one around TMEA time!

I like its sound, I think it has the best sound of all Bach trombones

We still have this specific A47XPS in the shop (although I don’t imagine for too much longer!). Feel free to reach out at tromboneshop@schmittmusic.com if we can help with anything!

It would be nice to hear something about the taper of the 47 and how that is different to the 42 and how much it impacts the sound and the playing. Secondly I wonder about the differenced of the classic 42 slide and this 47 slide. Is it just the interchangeable leadpipe that comes with the 47 or is there more to it with a different weight distribution?

Great review and great horn! I've just compared Tannhäuser excerpt on this video vs the 88HNV video...without having tested them they seem very similar trombones. The Conn has a brighter sound while the Bach has a more powerful one. Which one would you choose as a main trombone? Currently I'm playing an Antoine Courtois Legend 420 and I'm not sure on what trombone to buy.
