*Vampire Academy:* I watched the movie before reading the books, and that cast was who I saw while reading, so I'm having a hard time letting that go. (Especially Dimitri & Rose.) I'm going to give the show a chance though, and I'm hoping that this new cast knocks my socks off, as I really want to watch all six books play out. Maybe even get a spinoff series for the Bloodlines book series. I won't be so hard on the cast of that series, as there was no movie for the first book. I've got an itch to reread both series. I've been reading/rereading the recaps in the Ultimate Guide to scratch that itch, plus, the movie has been airing a lot lately, which isn't helping me to not crave rereading the books. I'm probably going to lose that battle soon.
