I like that you keep it real and mention the risks involved! That said, this was another one of my favourite natural beaches on Tobago. I see that a lot of the natural bush that made it extremely secluded has been chopped away! Talking about crime: I was wandering around on my own in both Tobago & Trinidad and nothing happened to me. People were very friendly and in Trinidad I even got a lift back to my accommodation from a lady who worked at the local doctor's surgery! 😄I didn't go out after dark and was aware of my surroundings. at all times. Where I live here in the UK- there was stabbings on the park opposite where I live. I agree Alan, you won't go anywhere if you think about the chances of being an unfortunate victim of crime. x

Make sure to swim out a couple hundred metres from the beaches around Mt. Irvine. You will see beautiful coral reefs right below. Use a mask or swim goggles to see it properly. I was amazed to see a reef so close to the shore!

A good number of Tobagonians know of this beach so it's not that hidden....for most Trinis however IT IS. I appreciate that Alan is willing to showcase it..... The masses will still stay at Store Bay & Pigeon Pt.

Unbelievable. F'n unbelievable. I went to Back Bay just after watching your video. Nothing to do with the video, coincidentally, I had planned to go there. I parked on the grass and went for a half-hour swim. When I returned to my van, the driver-side window was smashed. There was nothing of value in the vehicle. I had been warned about the place. Told that that's the reason why people hardly go there, even though it's such a beautiful beach.

Hi. I've been waiting 4 months for a settlement from Caribbean Airlines. I had a 9.5hr flight delay and the airlines said in an email that because of Air Passenger Protection Regulations, as outlined by the Canadian Transportation Agency, I am entitled to compensation in the sum of CAD500. That was for months ago! I have opened 2 tickets with there Help Line to ask 'what is going on?'. Nothing. I slept in the Toronto airport overnight because of that delay. Coming back was a 3.5 delay, missed my connection and then slept 'again' at the Toronto airport. You say they are a good airlines? NOOOOOO!

Trinidad rivers ,waterfalls, beaches are beautiful. But not safe . Wicked bandits will rob you and interfere with your vehicle . It's like we have to visit other countries to enjoy these beautiful places. Shame on Trinidad and Tobago 4:06

There are places in the world where it is safe, and I have lived in them, but you have to use a fine teeth comb to find these places. Unfortunately, the media news, etc, only shows the negatives because that is what people want to watch. Where I live right now, I leave my front door open for the neighbors and their children to pop in any time. My life is exactly how it used to be back in the day in TT. That being said, I will continue to admire TT from afar. ❤
