You make it sound easy. However, it’s not just a couple of hours at the boot sale, it’s your time travelling, testing everything, photographing it, listing it, packaging it etc etc. It’s still decent money but there’s a lot more involved than just buying it.

For someone who knows nothing about games, can you explain to me what the difference is between platinum vs black label? Why is platinum embarrassing to have? Lol 😂I don’t do games so I’m clueless but would be nice to know for reselling purposes.

Its not embarasing, but most ppl care only black label coz its original print as well as the colour look better. Silver its later prints same as player choice for nintendo, game essential for ps3 etc. Less ppl look after that.

Most serious collecters only want the black label versions as they look better on a shelf in a collection. People want their collection to look uniform instead of having random silver ones in the mix. There is no difference in the actual game, just the colour of the artwork is different. Some people dont collect platinums, other people dont care. They still sell either way tbh.

I had one off them boxed arcade tables for my megadrive+ mega cd 1 consoles years ago when i lived at home, I think it went out the loft with other things and went down the tip 🙉😢

Those vintage/ antique saws that the guy u got the plane off some of them can be worth good money. Also when buying car stereos check to see if the bezel that fits into the car is there as often they are missing as theyre hard to get back out of the car. Been stung that way once only realised when i got a return request

yeah a lot of them can't be bothered with the hassle of putting it up, waiting, potential buyer coming back with complaints and asking for refund etc etc. Sometimes haven't got the time and fast cash is easier. same reason why cex works for ppl
