We appreciate all you do for us with this channel, but it's important to take time off and decompress every once in a while so no worries! I am happy that you were able to get the upper hand over those triggers and remain sober while on vacation. I had a hard time with cravings this week myself; it was a busy and stressful week with so many random things popping up and the thought of drinking definitely crept into my mind. Thankfully I was able to fight those urges and stay sober, and I feel really good about that! Looking forward to your next video tomorrow! Have a nice one! ❤

Glad you had a good trip. Love cool mountain air. Of course, around here it's cool much of the time, which can be quite pleasant! 😎 Good job avoiding the triggers. Also, my sister would make really good "fruity drinks" (no alcohol, but delicious tropical fruit and some kinds of flavor) when we were on vacation. A yummy treat that I've also learned about is mixing frozen concentrated orange juice with sparkling water. Feels like a wonderful treat. And, of course, "Shirley Temples" which I used to drink as a little girl (7Up and maraschino cherry). 🍋🍊 🍉

Glad you enjoyed the Smokies!! I’m a Tennessee boy and will be getting up to the mountains myself with my family soon. Love the temperature change. Stay away from Pigeon Forge and stick to Gatlinburg. Much less touristy and much more wilderness.

I used to live near Sevierville Tennessee and would getaway to Cherokee North Carolina, it was a nice drive and yes its like 20 degrees+ cooler up near the summit. I used to go to Harrah's casino, drink and bring a flask into the casino because thedrinks were expensive 🙄. Love your channel. Im an on/ off again alcoholic. Keep up the greatwork sir, you are an inspiration to all.

@@liverdisease-qb6rk I just found your channel a few days ago and for some reason, I watched a lot of your videos. I have never struggled with alcohol as badly as you have, mostly during COVID is when I took up drinking but I've been sober since August 2021. My problem has always been food and I see a lot of parallels between alcohol and food addiction. There have been times when I'm so stressed or sad that I eat even if I'm not hungry to self-soothe. I've eaten so much I've gotten sick, so I understand why you kept drinking even while feeling like sh!t. I wake up feeling full from the night before still too. Addiction is just so cruel and difficult.
