I have a tiny Minpin - just sending a suggestion. Be sure to remove the harness when Galahad is staying inside because it can rub and get sore eventually. I believe it is nice for them to “suit up” before they go out for walk each time too, they recognize play time.🩷Love that sweet boy !

Next time you fill the windshield fluid - not just water try one with rain x the rain will just dance off the glass. They also make a fluid for freezing temperatures. Water only for an urgent matter which I'm guessing was your situation. I had fun watching older episodes, did Phillip fall for you when you toured the porcelain mfg? Marie Antoinette's milk cup? That was a surprise, never knew that. Thanks would enjoy more adventures playing tourist.

When will new small chickens arrive at the chateau to be safely protected from any fox attacks ? ? A friend who keeps chickens has very generously put down a high layer of dry "pea straw" to cover all the outdoor day area that the chickens use during the day time - it results in the dirt not looking ugly and pitted with holes where the chickens roam and scratch continuously during the day. Plus Pea straw naturally enriches the soil each time you re-apply a new layer of dried pea-straw again over the previous layer.

Kristy should have a look at cog hill farm, they have a nice chicken roost for eggs, the eggs roll out onto a tray. Practically no cleaning of the eggs post chicken. They have easter eggers too , the basket of eggs is so pretty.

Are you going to put a few rods in the chicken house for the chickens to sit on. We had chicken when I was small and the I remember the chicken sat sleeping on the rods, as in a tree, close to each other. Make the cleaning process easier and they don’t poop on each other.

The new chicken coop: I highly recommend watering and feeding in the outdoor area. It is where you want them in the day and will easier to clean. Keep their poop of the roost away from their daytime activities.

I agree, keep the water outside, they don't need it at night when roosting. But only if they have access to the outside also. The feed would be easier to clean outside too and help reduce rats. You don't want their poop going onto feed on the ground from their roosting.

I haven’t seen any updates, but Stephanie did say a while back that Amaury had been doing some more work for the heating system. She explained that since the accident last year where the guy from the heating company died she hasn’t been filming any of the progress. Not sure how close it is though - hopefully before winter!

Bonjour. I saw your gorgeous chicken coop. Be careful that the passage between roof (the scantling) and wall has no free space/holes. Every space which is big like an egg oder even bigger, is accessible to a marten. We attached wire from inside against the free spaces to make sure that the chickens are really safe.
