We are Marisa and David, Australian expats now living part-time in Chianni Tuscany.
During the Global Pandemic, we decided to buy our Italian dream home, sight unseen and with no prior knowledge of the area.

WE'VE jumped forward with the vlogs to give you an "up to date" idea of what's been happening since we returned from our fabulous but "very eventful" trip to France and northern Italy.
We had to miss our trip to gorgeous Lake Como and visiting the beautiful Alla & Sergi ‪@DreamingofAChateau‬ which really upset me, but I know we will get there!
I'm recovering quite well now and managing to potter about and do a few little jobs, which really helps my recovery psychologically. I love being involved.

Even the rainy days and dark cloudy skies didn’t detract from the beauty of Chianni and the lush surrounding countryside. The more I see on your vlogs, the more appealing it becomes, Also, loved the antique warehouse in Biscottini and your newly acquired treasures. It makes me even more determined to visit, purchase and start decorating my place in Tuscany and get all my “ stuff” out of storage UK and over to Italy. Thank you for inspiring us and not letting crutches prevent you from filming. Your plans for the exterior of the house look exciting - love that re-discovered window and your ideas for a bigger open plan kitchen. It’ll all be worth the noise and dust when it’s done.
