it's a Korala Mahogany Cutaway Electro Tenor with a few upgrades to the saddle, pick-up and the pre-amp - I've recently upgraded to a Kala tenor which is sweet :)

the important thing is that you've identified an area to work on :) something that works for me is to try playing it slower, say 50% speed or 75% speed, ideally over a backing track of a slowed down version of the original (the youtube video cog is good for this) or to a metronome app, repeat every day for 5-20 mins, hope this helps
