Katie, I just have to tell you that I decided to record myself playing along with the original version of this song today...your videos have been such a blessing. It's been a week since I got my first uke and already I'm feeling more empowered that I would've thought possible. I play about 20-30 minutes in a session, trying to do 3 sessions per day. Your encouragement comes through in your teaching and has been such a blessing. THANK YOU!!!

I picked up a ukulele for the first time in January of this year and I’ve been trying to play this for the last two weeks, it nearly destroyed my confidence. So weekend just gone I took off from playing completely, then I found your video. This is by far the best tutorial and your voice is like liquid velvet. I subscribed on the basis of this tutorial and hope to learn more techniques and improve my playing with the help of your videos. Thank You 🙏

Great tutorial! Just a note for any beginners out there: Jason Mraz plays this in the key of B major on the record, so if you play these chords along to the song without tuning your ukulele down a half step to F#, B, D#, G#, it's going to sound very wrong.

Why would someone put a dislike on this video, it’s really good!
@OneMusicSchool6 жыл бұрын
Thank you :). I really appreciate it. I have a subscriber that must be on my notifications that gives me a thumbs down for every video that they don't like. I figured it was someone on my notification squad because they hit the thumbs down within minutes of me uploading. It just shows that this person is immature and petty because they're not "getting what they want" instead of requesting something specific. I can't read their minds, so I just look at the majority of what people like. At the end of the day, it doesn't hurt my channel. KZbin promotes channels that people watch (for good or bad reasons). I appreciate your positivity, and it speaks volumes about who you are as a person. Thank you for being here.
@caleculating6 жыл бұрын
One Music School Hi Katie, dont be discouraged! Like you said, I’m sure its just someone who is either very petty or doesn’t take the time to request what they want and automatically puts a dislike on your video. It might seem really discouraging but dont fret, your notification squad (including me, I just hit the bell!) are all supporting you and are with you every step of the way.
