2 and 5 are different costumes in the comics after Peter discovered the Symbiote was bad and had it removed (before Venom was even a thing) he wore a cloth version of the outfit. The cloth version he wore he webshooters (why the Kravens last hunt 2 pack had thwip hands) and no black dots as the symbiote webbed out of the top of hand dot was where the web shot from. so 5 is my favorite as love the cloth version but the slimmer build compared to the new retro black suit.

Great reviews. I honestly love all the different figures they've made for the black suit. My favorite is probably #4 because i liked the comic and the purple shading also looks great imo.

The Kraven two-pack one is newer, not older, than the Sandman BAF wave one. By at least a year. The Sandman one is the symbiote suit with the dots and the Kraven one is his cloth black costume, hence the lack of dots.

The dots are when it's the symbiote and if there aren't any it's just a cloth version

#5 doesn't have the dots because he shoots webs from his regular web-shooters. It's a black costume, not a symbiote suit.

It's actually the one from the ultimate universe comics. That one didn't have the white hand patches and was purple. Also if you Google search it the toy is literally the ultimate spider man black suit. Most cloth versions still have the white patches. Edit: oh I miss read your comment I thought you were talking about number 4 lmao

@@_Kimberlin , yes, but we must remember that the black suit from the animated series doesn't have any dots, and it is a symbiote suit. As the retrocard is based on the animated show, it must be considerated symbiote suit even without the dots.

The sandman BAF wave symbiote Spider-Man was my first 6 inch Spider-Man I got for the collection. I still have it on display with the other Spider-Men in my collection. My favourite spider is the new TASM 2 Spider-Man figure that came in the 3 pack. I’m thinking about customising one of the old toybiz Spider-Man 2 spideys for a Spider-Man 3 symbiote figure.

I don’t think the need for Thwip hands is something to complain about because he usually in at least some comics and shows I’ve seen, he just uses his fist and it comes out the black dot. Idk why they included Thwip hands

I love my retro card black suit Spider-Man probably one of my favorite figures i have in my collection from marvel Legends Also the only reason why the retro card doesn't have dots due to being based off of the show where he djd wear the symbiote suit but it didn't have any dots do it is accurate to the show

The best one is the animated series symbiote spider man that came with carnage. Its like the retro but with the ryv body with articulated toes.
