Molly is looking gorgeous! The shine on her coat was giving me a retina burn!! 💖 Loads of people trim their horse's mane these days cos pulling is painful for the horse, same with using clippers to tidy the top of the tail

@@everydayeventers8580 nothing wrong with using scissors, I started trimming my pony's mane with scissors years ago after someone pulled her mane and basically yanked it all out!! 😱 it looked terrible and took ages to grow back again, and I had to keep trimming the long bits back to make it look better! IIRC people actually used to think that cutting the mane would make it stand on end, which is completely daft!!

Molly has a beautiful swinging walk and looks much better than I thought she would after her traumatic time, she is an absolute dude, slowly but sensibly will get you to your goals, really sh#t vets bill, but that will be forgotten in time, ❤😂xx

So happy with her and she has recovered so well in such a short space of time. Taking time out to get out having again and she will be back to it in no time xx

Love this!! I do manes the same way. Cash’s mane is soooo thick so I have to take it too and it still ends up with a parting 😂

Can I just add. My dog had to spend 3 days in a hospital environment. It appears small animal care is waaay more expensive than a humungous equine. Something wrong there I feel. But so happy you are on the up.

Someone else has said this to me which shocked me to be fair. You would think small animal would be cheaper but it appears it’s not. Hope they are on the road to recovery too xx

I'm glad to see Molly mended well and is back to being ridden. You'll be back doing what you were doing before you know it! In case I missed it, did Pea Pod sell to a new owner yet or is she still at the training yard?
