Laurens made his choice to help in many ways; logistics, social media, business, etc...and to be the needed support on a daily basis. He works a lot too! He also had to give up things he was doing for himself to be in this process. Realistically, very few people get the opportunity to do what Romee does; how can you let that pass you by? The best part of this was learning about their favorite moments! No one asked but I'll share one of my favorite moments! During our first year together, my husband- then boyfriend, said he had a big surprise for me after work. I came home to a 3 ft banana bunch in my living room and I was so confused! He remembered that once on a dog walk I said how much I loved the tiny bananas that commonly grow in Houston. So he let the fruit grow bigger and harvested the exact tree I admired before anyone else could take them. ❤️
