It was funny seeing the birds picking up the bread, then seeing a bigger bit. It's like you know what they are thinking, I am hungry and I want that big piece of bread. Wow that is a really beautiful castle and the moat is epic, very romantic ruins.

That looks a cracking free park up. I bet that castle looks lovely when free of the scaffolding, they must be getting it presentable for the summer season. Lovely video filming of the birds, nice close up detail, so many species of birds too.

It's a really good park up and relaxing when it's quiet, but with better weather to sit out and use the picnic benches that are there. Nice walk to the castle too and all for free. Lots of lovely birdlife too to keep you entertained through the window with your morning cuppa.😊

Lovely walks for bird watching and very interesting pictures and information about the castles ( always love a bit of history) 👍Bad luck about Nookie not allowed in the cafe , you missed out on your usual hot chocolate. Hopefully yes. Bound to be by Easter for the kids. There's quite a few closed and having work done. Although Blake's 4 On Tour went last year and think it was shut then and am sure that was in the Summer. Suppose it depends how structurally unsafe it is.

Lol, glad someone spotted the dopey blue tit with the bread, it made me chuckle too. Definitely your kind of place. Got your water and loo emptying and picnic bench. Just a donation if you have cash on you. We stuck a fiver in. It does get busy in the Summer though so I'd go out of season. Free to walk around the grounds of the castle but presume you need a ticket once it's properly open again to get inside the building itself.
@BentleyOnTour2 жыл бұрын
@@roaminginraymond Yes I think travelling in a motorhome out of season has got to be more enjoyable. Fiver is reasonable I think too. I did do some filming over last couple of days and I was astonished how much some of these campsites charge for electric. Taking the p155 😄
@roaminginraymond2 жыл бұрын
I agree, but then I suppose some people take the p155 with the usage and it has a knock on effect to those that don't use so much. Definitely think out of season has its benefits. Less people!😆
@BentleyOnTour2 жыл бұрын
@Roaming in Raymond Motorhome Adventures I mean how much electric can you use in a motorhome in one night? Never been to a metered site.
@roaminginraymond2 жыл бұрын
Not sure, but I know when we used to park on Karl's drive and plug in and have the heating on, it would kill the electric. But lots of sites are seasonal where people wouldn't really be having the heating on anyway so bugger knows.🤔
