😍 Nicely done! We've got some dig days coming up on those trails at Hallyburton 9th and 23rd March if anyone wants to come help fix up the boggy bits and diversions 😁

Awesome riding Andy, it's a great place to ride. 👌

Pedant alert - that's not Ballo 1 and Spicy bits, it's Corona. Ballo and 'Bits is ridden so much it's pretty blown out right now. You're better off on the trails in the middle anyway - Corona is a great trail. Hope you enjoyed both sides of Ballo, and welcome back to Scotland.

Nice trails. I love all the small kickers, they add fun to the trail. The builders did a great job.

Such a good set of hills, I went over to the east side today and was pleasently surprised how good the less steep trails were. Shame you didn't do the second half of Tangerine dream after you cross the climb, one of my personal favourite bits, fast and off camber.

Just did a night session in lundie on that new trail as well for the first time, it was absolutely soaked and it managed to claim my brake pads in the mud somehow.

Great video as always. Glad you're enjoying being back home. Why not get your mate to take you indoor climbing? Great to gain confidence and technique,without the injury risks. Also Great for full body work out but especially core strength.

That’s what we actually decided on. Makes the most sense👍

Good to hear your Mondraker warranty experience was a good one. I bought one myself (crafty RR) Have you got a link to the 3d printed charger cover please? The standard one is abit…..💩
@McTrailRider10 ай бұрын
I’m only aware of the cover from Progression Bikes tbh. www.progressionbikesscotland.com/

having ridden both the R and XR would you recommend the longer 170 forks? just got a crafty R and thinking of an air shaft upgrade, although the HTA doesnt feel as steep when riding as the figures would sugggest

I wouldn’t bother changing it, unless you feel it’s lacking in any way. I didn’t know that they had different form travel tbh.

That other hill the other side of Ballo is known as Hallyburton.

I had since learnt this, would be better knowing before the video though 🤦🏼♂️

@@McTrailRider Lol. I quite like the trails at Hallyburton. I haven't been in a while but it was a lot drier when I was there.

Not been to Ballo woods in ages but don’t recognise any of the trail but there are two sides I think 🤔 is that the same Ballo near Coupar Angus yeh? Brexit the gift that keeps on giving!
@McTrailRider10 ай бұрын
The first load of trails were over on the other side to the main hill. And yes, these are next to Coupar Angus👍
@kevinchristoforou151910 ай бұрын
One side is ballo, the other is known as lundie. (The side with the 3 jumps and berms)
@scotlandmyhome748410 ай бұрын
Need to go back as I only did one side I’m sure it was the same trail names just looked completely different! 👍
@kevinchristoforou151910 ай бұрын
On trailforks ballo is the hill with korma, spicy bits etc. Lundie has agent orange and purple heart 💜 There has been loads done there during and post COVID, so if you've not been for a while it's very different

And I thought this was a video you made before you left. Too bad you had to cut the trip short Andrew, but definitely if Alix was bored it was time. Maybe next time you can do that ride with Nathan.
