Yeah, we definitely made a few wrong turns on the first climb, more than is shown in the video. The second climb was far better. Sintra is such a great destination👌

Sounds like we got away with it then😬 We were following a GPX file from someone else’s ride, I never expected it to lead us to where it did.

@@McTrailRideryeah. There was a time, lot of people were entering the property, cause the dogs were restrained, cause a tree had destroyed a wall, and they will run away. 😅. But usually no one takes chances. We use to ride the bottom part, where you enter that wall, in the 90’s there was a XC race that pass there. But that was a while ago…. 😅. You missed the harder line on Torgas, has you probably notice, and in Pedra Branca, when you take that left, it’s easier then the right. They are my favourite trails around. We have been doing some work in Torgas. Going back to it, when i finish Wubbzy and Dimas and Jack. 😄👌

Thing is. Now there’s a video on KZbin showing this is the wrong route to take, other people won’t make the same mistake while exploring that area. The guys obviously had no idea, and with no signpost saying no entry they could only explore as you don’t expect a dead end on a marked trail that once existed.

I use the “footpath” app on the phone, it’s been the best one for loading a GPX file and then following a route out of the ones I’ve used so far.

He's on the Balmoral Estate which is protected by an entire battalion of troops when the monarch is in residence. Guaranteed there's a couple of snipers up in the hills watching over things.

The old F1 track, from Estoril, is near by. 😄

There is a racetrack relatively close, but I think we were mainly hearing bikes one the road, as many passed us by.

The Sintra mountain roads turn into an amateur race track on the weekends, so I’d bet this was filmed on a Sunday morning, early afternoon. 😂

Red for the most part, but definitely a couple of black sections. Loved all the trails on this day though👌
