Thank for the subscribe and watching. I just started using LiDAR. I use it with old maps and satellite images to get a better understanding of the area I’m searching. I find using all three will better locate a spot then just using one of the three. I have been thinking of putting a video together, just want to make sure it’s clear and informative. Instead of a money clip on a chain it looks more like a pocket watch chain and the clip goes on your belt.

Where did you get the cap for your pinpointer? I need to get one!

I got them from Amazon, they came in a pack of (3). They work well for the Garrett but didn’t stay on my Minelab M-35 as good. They tips didn’t say they would work on the M-35 but figured they might and didn’t to my liking.

Any tips on finding coins in am open field?

Here in south western Pennsylvania, our county is quite hilly. I have had good luck searching areas close to spring heads and using LiDAR maps looking for ground formation that could be old house foundations. The early homes needed close water and wells where hard to get deep then so springs were ideal areas for old old houses that don’t show up on early maps.

@@robbingtommyknocker5800 I'm from oregon and I live in a town made in the 1870s and my neighbor is the first house ever built here but uts all flat ground and square nails are the only way I can tell if there was an old home. I have always wanted to find an Indian head cent that's my dream coin.

I got one of them to give me a go ahead but after he did the ground froze up. Have to wait till it warms up to get n there.
