The security team does not audit the testing branch. Since you have an AMD graphic card, you didn't even need to use testing.

I don't use Debian atm. But Debian is the King of all Distros.. thats a fact. Community driven, stable, secure. I mean.. look at all the Distros, most of the Spins are based on Debian or Ubuntu and Ubuntu is based on Debian. And Developers target either Ubuntu or Debian, if they support Linux, even Steam has an official .deb. And who cares about slightly older Stuff? Most ppl run Mint or Ubuntu LTS anyway.. and even the Steam Deck on the Stable Channel uses the 6.1 Kernel. I mean you can even use Flatpaks, you can use Distrobox. But I'm not a big fan of Testing and Sid, tbh. Because they get security updates later and the freeze period, when the new stable comes. Debian, no drama, just works, and even if the other Distros have Drama, Debian will pick the best solution for their users, once all the other distros are done with arguing.

yeah im only on trixie, but it says in my info trixie/sid i guess it say that if your on trixie or sid but it kind of confusing i guess lol... but my sources.list only has trixie theres not sid added, though i kind of miss gnome 45 and up lol i miss the workspace switcher they add in gnoem 45 and im like .1 version from 45 on testing lol.. 44.9 like common debian ... they are waiting on budgie with mutter or whatever i think idk... anyhow yeah immma on old gnome shell everything else like nautilus and settings are version 46 lol but shell and mutter still on 44.

Should i install Debian? Im on linux since march and i never tried Debian.

Nah not really i mean if u used to mint or ubuntu or zorin or any other beginner or any distro then u don really will get any benefit from switching to debian other than old packages

debian has testing and its not really old pacakges at all. use what you want, but I love debian i think its a solid OS.
