Jeff wins, because you're the hardest working man on YT - as you said: 'the wins don't come easy'. Can't wait to see the old girl pushing dirt again!

When I work on projects that take a while and sometimes not fun at all. I just think of all the fun I'm going to have later when it's done. And on the upside there's no reason to ever hook a laptop computer to it. Just like a 4430 JD she will do a days work and never have to worry about it. Thanks Jeff for taking us along

Jeff save you some $$$$$ weld up those retainer plates 3:30 with hard facing and grind or flap them.16:30 Dr. Jeff hard at work on the operating table. At 29:30 the hole in the collar must be opposite of the zerk to expel all the air in the grease groove plus old grease turns rock hard in the groove if it’s Not flushed out with new. Causing it to be a solid binder when the collar needs to be removed in the future. Like concrete.

In the past I have run Pneumatic plastic lines and push fittings, as remote grease lines for hard to reach grease nipples, you just have to think a bit of how you route the lines, and remember to charge the lines with grease when you install them.

Jay, Check out this chamfering Cone at Regis Manufacturing "ASM-12" is the mandrel and "AS-10" is the abrasive sleeve that goes on the mandrel. Very easy to use, fits on a small drill. When I worked in a speed shop long ago we used these to chamfer engine cylinders after reboring. Hold at the desired angle and grind away, cuts fast on a high speed air drill. Definitely a handy tool for a guy like you to have.

What would you guesstimate the cost at cat would be for that job in its entirety? I’m betting it would sit most guys down in their chair and say I’m done! Going to be a Walmart tire changer.
@boomupengineeringАй бұрын
It's funny. You can be working on a multi-million dollar job and what tools do the hands have in their hands? Crescent wrenches. Not a combination wrench, socket or cordless impact to be found. So we all laugh about going home to get better tools.
