Pulled a weedwacker off the sidewalk . Guy said it will not stay running ! I found the spark screen in the exhaust blocked , primer bulb cracked and fuel lines need replacing . Did all the work and sold it for $75 ! I wish more people would run these things full bore and take better care of them

Great work Brie as usual! I like how you fixed the machines so professionally for Dwight for free. He will enjoy the machines as you enjoy the bike, but you will have more fun because the bike will work for you to enjoy some leisure time. When I was a teenager I knew a teacher that had at least 1/3 of an acre of lawn that needed to be mowed. She told me that her husband passed away and had a motorized bicycle, and if I mowed her lawn 3x then the bike would be mine. She supplied the 22 inch self propelled mower and gas, plus big gulp sized drinks for me when I needed it when mowing. The bike was a German made single speed with 26 inch tires with a Fuji precision machinery 2 stroke 50cc motor on it. The drive motor rubber pulley would have friction drive against the edge of the back tire rim, and with the pull of a lever it would be engaged or disengaged. It had a off green tank with the round eyeglass at the bottom to view if gas was getting out of the tank. It ran like a top and when changed over to mount on a Schwinn 20 inch (3 speed) banana seat bike it was even faster! It would outrun the mopeds of that era!! So much fun, but the rubber drive wheel would slip a bit when the rain was getting on it. So much fun and I observed (enjoyed) many curious stares and compliments. My dad the machinist was very surprised that the Fuji motor had 1 brake horsepower. Good times and good for cooling off some as a kid in the summer in Kansas and always fun to ride it.

Passed by Hot Springs yesterday afternoon and waved - it's nice to be enjoying the relief from the Texas heat! It was a joy to hear your squeals of delight as you tried out that great gift. I can't remember the last time I was on a bicycle, but like they say I imagine I could still manage; though, with my neck and spine issues it probably wouldn't be a good idea.

Bianchi makes a fantastic bike frame!!!! I had one back in the late 80s or early 90s and put untold thousands of miles on it. . That custom made Italian frame is made from the finest triple butted chrome moly and weighs little to nothing (for a steel bike). Congrats because that was at least a grand just for the frame back in the day. Never get rid of it ( Unless its to me:)

Over the last few months, I've been teaching myself small motor repairs. Your channel is by far the MOST informative of all. You explain everything in clear detail and show ALL the steps. Much appreciated. I've got several different models running properly, my favorite so far being a Baum AG, which had ethanol sitting in it for a long time. The fuel hoses were jelly, and the tank was full of sludge. What I need to know right now is what's the best method of cleaning them. I'm sure you've done one on that so I''ll have a look. 😊😊

I got to ride a friend's Vespa Ciao moped around 1978 and could not stop giggling as I rode it. Then, in 2002 another friend got married and we rode go-carts at his bachelor party and I laughed like a maniac all around the track. Thank goodness I'm don't laugh like that every time I drive my car . . . anymore.

A good friend of mine did one of those bicycle conversions with a little 2 stroke engine. Worked great, however his motto on cars, golf carts, anything with a motor and wheels, etc.........."this can go faster". Fast forward a couple of months and he has a 350cc motorcycle engine on it. Looks awesome and scary at the same time.

I could tell you had fun with that bike from all the bugs on your teeth! You did sound a bit like Margaret Hamilton when you rode off though... All you needed was a basket and a little dog. I went to my local Stihl dealer for a few parts a couple of weeks ago. I was stunned by what I saw. He was replacing a crank or piston deep in a chainsaw motor. He did nothing to clean the saw beforehand and was literally doing surgery in a pile of filth. I was in the process of going over a friend's saws; the first thing I did was blow/pressure wash them fairly clean. Not antiseptic, but clean enough to keep chunks out. The bar and plastic parts I stuck in the dishwasher (no - I am not married anymore). When he came to pick them up, they looked great. I know you don't have time to do that level of cleaning, but a quick blowdown or light pressure washing goes a long way towards keeping the whole shop cleaner and your work will look like a whole lot nicer to impress your customers.
