YES. FYI you used to be home with Louie much more and now he’s probably going through separation anxiety. Also having a dog now he’s very confused. Cats also need attention, play, and care just like your dog. They have many emotions. And leaving him for nights is going to cause him a lot of stress. Hence the peeing on furniture.

my cat used to pee everywhere but his box bc he had kidney issues for so long and i didn’t know, i thought it was separation anxiety or he was mad at me but turns out he had kidney failure.. he’s gone now but i wish i would’ve known before :/ i hope lou is okay! try hiring someone to hang out with him when you’re not around?
