Tip for peeling eggs: when you are done with cooking while they are still hot, in empty pot without the hot water, crack the shell a little and then cover them with cold water. The water cools them down and cracking the shell while they are hot is easier and water will go underneath the shell making them easier to peel

Fun fact: in Romania, as kids, this would be a staple breakfast (not with avocado though), but we all loved sandwiches with butter and "shaved" eggs like that on top. Maybe it's an Eastern European type of thing? This brought so many memories though, I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow lol🤣

When I hard boil eggs I throw them in ice water and once they’re cool I roll them on the counter softly and it’ll peel off easier. Hope this helped someone 💛

There’s this back I saw on TikTok for hard boiled eggs - you put it in an empty mug once done and cover the top of your mug with your hand so the egg doesn’t fall out -shake the mug so that the egg cracks all around the outside and then you just like peel it .. comes off super easy actually works!!!

For hard boiled eggs I cool it for like a minute in super cold water, then I kinda smack it down on the counter for the initial crack lmao and then I roll with pressure to crack it all around and then when I go to peel it goes in one piece basically if that makes sense😂

That photo on your mantle was a 5 x 7. Way smaller than an 8 x 10. You’re matting definitely looks like a true 8 x 10. Sierra, You should buy a measuring tape. You can buy them on Amazon, and they have them digital. So that way you don’t have to figure out the lines on the ruler LOL I suck at that 😆 But it just reads it out digitally for you the length of whatever you’re measuring once you lock it in. I am loving all the new decor.

After you crack the egg shell, you can use a spoon to get under the shell and it all comes off easier !

Use a teaspoon to de shell the eggs, you crack it and stick it in the shell and almost scoop the egg out. Works like a charm

I peel the eggs by taking them out of the hot boiling water, and right away cracking the egg and then peeling the egg under running cold water from the sink and it peels off so easily!!

Cooked chicken : you should definitely get a meat thermometer to make sure it’s cooked all the way through without being scared. I don’t cook often and that has been a life saver !

Add a little vinegar when boiling your eggs and it makes peeling so easy!! I also boil my eggs for 18 minutes for hard boiled eggs! Bordering on a soft boiled egg that's why it falls apart easy!! Recommend that you let someone else hang your mirror!! Lol I think white curtains would look good!!
