Retirement is great...for about three weeks. For those of us who started working at 12 years old, it can be a difficult transition. I had volunteer work set up and all of it fell through. But God is merciful and grandchildren began arriving. So, there is plenty of sewing and teaching and just playing to do. Life is sweet. Best wishes to you in the next leg of your journey.

Lincoln was my home for almost 30 years. I was the planning commissioner there. I have wonderful memories of that wonderful city. When I moved there, the population was 1950 people and when I left the population was 65,000. We were featured on Nightline with Ted Coppel as one of the fastest growing well planned cities in all of the US. Was so proud of that. I still have many fond memories of my time there and still stay in touch with a whole lot of people. Sadly, many have also have passed away but there are still many left there that I know. Thunder Valley is a beautiful Casino. Have a great time!! P.S. I saw your show in Wendover NV before your knee surgery. Wanted to go to your last show in Salt Lake but got very sick and had to miss it. Have a great show in Calif.
