Oh my god verdansk. I miss that map so much. So much fond memories. I won my first game of warzone by using a model 680 shotgun and i picked that off the ground. Wat I love about early warzone is that nobody knows the map. We r all lost sheeps in a field.

100%. Now you have people sliding on the ground which I reckon kills the game for those of us who enjoyed growing up with CoD. Not to mention sniper drops constantly changing and missing well aimed shots. I loved it! :((((

Verdansk was such a good map, the decision to change it to Caldera was a huge mistake. It’s so annoying that they changed warzone which is MW, into Warzone Caldera which is Vanguard.

Well I mean we did nuke verdansk so their was no way too have it playable with the radiation levels. Plus warzone 2.0 is gonna have a very similar map design too verdansk

Only now in retrospect, but not even really... Nearly EVERYONE was tired of Verdansk towards the end. Everyone wanted something new. They gave us something new and for a while it was fun. Quickly though Caldera lost it's sparkle due largely to inherent issues with the map itself, but I also think the COD community's childish fickleness played a part in it. The community is all over the place in regards to what they want, when they want it, what previous COD's are good/bad, etc, etc, etc... When they finally got rid of Verdansk and everyone was hyped to see what was coming (including myself) I told several people to mark my words and that in a few months the same community that had grown tired of Verdansk will end up missing it and wanting it back. I think the same will be true to a degree for Caldera once they get rid of it. Wanting something back once it's gone is a common human trait though.

Verdansk was very depressing it adds negativity and everyone gets shot from everywhere no place to hide you can get shot from downtown to the other building east ,caldera is bigger more beautiful nature and more hiding spots You can even hide in the mountains and escape fast when In a helicopter

@@deandanielson8950 that's what made it fun, crazy tension and you had to plan/move. There was action and recognizable locations everywhere. I've had memorable shootouts in every single location in Verdansk. I couldn't name 3 areas in Caldera off the top of my head. Caldera is literally the worst map possible for a Battle Royale. I know alot of people stopped playing warzone entirely because of how bad the map is. Enjoy it because I highly doubt they put out bs like that again

Pre Cold War, that was the peak of warzone and was awesome! It was fun and you had enough time to had levelled up all the decent guns. Everything after cold was was just an pain in the ass and all the mw guns underperformed so much compared to the new games guns

memories me and my squad had this goofy friend who played constantly with us everyday on verdansk we loved dropping in downtown on Tall Building snipping and pissing off other players we loved trolling players placing bouncing bettty's in ziplines and elevators and teabag downed players suddenly he stopped playing and we were waiting for him to turn up online till we heard the news that he died in a hospital due to cardiac arrest it broke us and most of us stopped playing because of what happened. RIP "KULACC" it's an honor that he spent his time with us enjoying the game.

Gah the nostalgia!... Downtown, bunker 11, and stadium easter eggs were always a fun fight going in solo on plunder quads! I helped around 1,000-1,500 people get the firebrand from the downtown paintings. Hardest one was definitely stadium for me

There were a few unlocks that required playing coop. I ended up playing this mission dozens of times because there were so many potential kills to farm. This one and the bank heist one. Those two missions were lit up.

regarding the first part of the video, this is something actual militaries use to rescue people where they can't get helicopters to, and because the elasticity of the rope they do get quite a large tug but they still live

If ya playing CO-OP, when a friendly player goes down, start reviving him, and then ask him to leave while you revive him in TPP, and you have a good chance to Play TPP in CO-OP

I accidentally glitched third person playing survival, once. You know how if a round ends while you're down it auto revives you? I was reviving someone, and then the round ended and it stayed in third person the rest of the game. It was great. I had so much fun. It convinced me they should add a TPS mode to the game.

i think theres a full map on one of the pirate sites. If i remember correctly its like 113gb. I did it last year but it was somewhat glitched and i think requires a server key or something to work right. I dont think a cracked ver was ever established bc of that tho. I remember Ground War was still working in verdansk a few months ago. I was doing some sniping

Nobody really brought this up, but I will. The balloon inflating from the backpack and then the plane picking him up, is in fact based upon a real system. It is based on something called the fulton recovery system, and was used to retrieve wounded soldiers or supplies. There were usually two bars at a 45 degree angle facing opposite ways on the front of a c-130 which would grab and pull the rope the balloon was connected to. The rope was then pulled back up with a winch attached to the cargo ramp in the rear. Look it up on KZbin, it’s quite interesting.
