Hey Brian. Last 12 months as I've lost disc height and gotten facet joint issues, bird dog and plank rolls really set off my sciatica and back pain'. I can do them with a good brace, super slow & perfect form and still seems to cause issues. I can literally just about get by with lock clams and front planks. What gives man 🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️

Might be still too sensitive to compression my man, you need test and then see what your exact pain triggers are..this then dictates what you can and cannot us exercise wise when starting out.
