Finally, one that I would buy. Large not-absorption fridge with drawer freezer, convection microwave down low, work station, raised always-ready bed with room underneath, awning windows, driver assist technology, extra alternator, 3000 inverter, macerator, quiet air conditioner, lithium, solar, 350/3500 engine, dually, heavy hitch.... Would rather it be on a Transit dually though. There's just me, though, and this unit would work just fine.

We own a 2019 Galleria 24FL Li3 2 wheel drive. Love it! We have had 2 Class A diesel pushers in the past so it is step down in terms of space. Big deal to us is we can park anywhere, run at least a day or two, maybe three, in comfort with no external connections. At my daughter's house, a simple 120 15 amp connection to her house gives us plenty of power for everything. Truma is awesome, and the Nova Kool 6.1 cu ft 12 Volt refrigerator is great. The 12 volt roof air is adequate, sometimes a little weak if the outside temperature goes over 90 to 95 degrees. We get routinely 16 to 16.5 mpg, and with a small 5x8 trailer about 15 mpg. We now have 64,000 miles on it. A little side note, we have traveled with a Sheltie dog, and in the future will be traveling with two Shelties. They travel well, and most often sleep on the rear seat turned into a roughly queen sized bed with us. If you should be considering a Galleria, there is a FaceBook site dedicated to the Galleria.

Love your videos and was a longtime viewer of your website. I'm enjoying this CoachmenRV overview of the Galleria 24A, floorplan with Li3. As for the shower doors, they open into both aisle to block and make into a nice dressing room providing a nice extra room. As for the noise inside "shower doors" I added a small mover chair floor pad on top and bottom of our 24FL no more rattles. Thanks for your wonderful feedback, always good stuff. I'm heading back to your website, thanks for the great Tips, tricks and ideas.

I like the cabinet color vs the white of the other two. It adds a nice warmth. But if you want to go this long in length, a Sprinter Class C gives you more exterior storage and more headroom. And is cheaper. We get around 14mpg in ours.

Ya those 3.6 gas pro masters are such junk engines. Wear out soo quickly and the transit trannys which u can’t find anywhere to replace it even the parts to rebuild them u can’t find for them and only made to go 100k miles. I work in the oil fields and they get rid of them just before it reaches 100k miles for a reason. Sure u can find the AWD Transit all day long for cheap,go ahead but won’t get very far. So sprinter is only choice for long term. You get what u pay for.

I would lose the garage in this case or just half of it becuse I would like a comfy place to sit, eat, and visit without bumping my head but I must have comfort as I am 73 with issues. I do love the way the beds raise up. Great show Jen and Mike.

Had the lead-in when talking about DEF, but wish you had raised the hood and would have noted if prior generation V6 or the new Turbo I4...which would lead into a discussion on how it drives with the I4 given your V6 experience. While the storage is great, handicapping the rear seating/bed with the cabinets, it also resulted into one other shortcoming - only 2 seat belts. Thankfully they do offer the bench seat with three seat belt floorplan like the Beyond, but you lose the desk. The 22 feet in the Beyond is probably ideal length or even shorter for a van, but at 24' 2" on the Galleria, may be better looking at the numerous competing 25' built on the Sprinter cutaway chassis with outside storage rather than the 24' Sprinter van.

Great review. I think the AC is the 12-volt unit, not the Truma. I checked out the Galleria FL model that had the layout I preferred, but it lacked the headroom I need. I liked the Coachmen Beyond 22C because of the extra interior headroom. We wound up going with the Winnebago Ekko for the storage and bathroom with the swing wall. Coachmen B vans are one of the better constructed B vans out there.

This is NOT a 4X4. All the 2023 and newer is AWD. BIG difference. AWD is when u can’t take out of 4x4 which makes its AWD. WOW 12mpg. Dealer told me they get 25-27mpg wow mm I want the shorter dually one tho. That’s all I need is a bed, desk and kitchen, solar and batteries. I think I can lighten it up by a couple thousand lbs by building it out myself and making it way warmer with closed cell spray foam. Weight means everything for getting mileage. No way would I spend $120k on just a few pieces of plywood, bed, solar and batteries. Love your videos. Keep it up

That was weird about the lack of head space in the back seating area. Super weird. Would love to see the alternative floor plans. I don’t know why these sinks are not equipped with pull down sprayer. (Didn’t look like it.) I like the curved cabinets better than beveled ones. The finish is very “woody” a little too drab for confined space my opinion despite the quality. I like a lighter white or grey finish as it seems to make it look more spacious. The desk was a real nice feature.

I start with my favorite quote (not about RVs, but totally applicable). There are no solutions, only tradeoffs. Having said that… I don’t understand the draw of the 170” dually Sprinter. If you’re approaching 24’ total length, why not just get a small B+/C? Like the Winnebago Ekko or Coachman Cross Trail? These rigs are about same length and have much more storage and roomier floor plans. You had mentioned using the Class B as a daily driver. So why not consider a 144” Sprinter? Sunshine State RVs sells Revel and Storyteller. Why not check them out and document their tradeoffs?
@barbaralongeway14638 ай бұрын
Our 2023 MAD Patriot is on the 2021 Sprinter 170Std, 22ft chassis. I wanted the 170Ext, 24 ft, but it wasn't available because of the "lockdown." I am the driver, and now I'm glad we have the 22ft. It's easy to drive, extremely maneuverable and we get 20mpg. 😊 I was never comfortable driving our Class C or our Class A. We don't need a toad, and with 900amh of BattleBorn batteries, we don't even need hookups. Boondocking is a breeze. Yes, it's definitely "cozy" and not for everyone, but it's just what we need.

One point on the laundry basket. It is very deep into the garage. It is going to be a hassle to bring it out fully loaded. Also it is not very handy over there, because you loose all the space in front of it because you do need to pull it out when full, so you don’t want to store a lot of stuff in front of the basket that you need to take out when you want to do laundry.
