Some good info. We have a wineguard and connected it through verizon. We haven't had any issues with wifi. So far so good.

We dumped KOA like a bad habit.! Paid for a site at Glacier KOA a year in advance. When we arrived a year later we were told we were "optimized out" of the site we choose, not only once but five times. KOA required an additional $50 for the privilege to stay at a KOA, plus the yearly fee KOA charges. I wish we would have told this when we booked. Fifty dollars for what? This is corporate greed. Found "ALLSTAYS" app that shows all campgrounds across the US, for a nominal fee of $35 a year. Great video!

BLM needs to lower prices during a recession. Not raise prices. Should be $150 for 7 months with a discount for senior citizens

I like the B+ the best. It has outside storage. You parked next to one in the full hookup campground with the Chase 50.

The owner's manual in your car used to tell you how to adjust the valves in your engine. Now it tells you not to drink the brake fluid.

If you're a heavy user of Wi-Fi then of course the satellite services are nice but expensive. For us semi-retired people our hotspot box is more than adequate for email, videos and even streaming Netflix. Our SIMO Solis Lite 4G LTE WiFi Mobile hotspot was on sale on Amazon for $99 and automatically gives 1 GB per month for free with the ability to buy additional data. There are dozens of hotspot boxes out there so do your research. My Simo worked in Europe and Asia on two previous trips and latches on to a local cell phone tower. It doesn't work if you're in the middle of nowhere where there is no cell phone signal. We are ATT and often find we can latch onto Verizon or T mobile signal with the box. Can't beat the price.

I love the bond you two have, I had always wished I found that with someone but never did. I don’t think you realize how much you two inspire people in more ways than just the rv world.❤

Thanks for the information. Our RV came with the Winegard Air+5g (but without the gateway)and a Travlfi 4g system. This month, we both maxed out our phone hotspot data plans in 2weeks so now looking at which one of the included systems to go with, or a different third-party unit. appreciated the discussion.

I am not an RVer but you guys are great. I will subscribe. As far as business goes it's not the old days anymore. These places want to make money . FOR PROFIT. I heard something about quartzsite and people are angry about the new charges. But there are places with no hookups that are cheap right? Anyway keep up your good work.

I have an extra class ham license. I own an HF mobile rig, and a 2 meter and 70 CM HT. My wife and I have GMRS HT's to help with backing up if there is no mobile service. I was unaware that there were repeaters in the GMRS world. Good to know. I'll look into this. Meanwhile, does a 50 watt GMRS rig get me anything I don't already have? 73 N3DRV Wayne

Kingman is running out of water. Every single year it has been an issue due to severe drought in the West. The water table has been lowered by farming and too many people. You better research where you might have to haul water from or have the ability to drill a well. Current wells are running dry.

With lots of respect I just want to look for groups and communities that are out there. My wife and I are looking into living the RV lifestyle for a bit. As a disabled veteran and already retired at the age of 40, we're looking to live our life. So we are just looking into how and what all we should prepare for (in a few years) to do it right. But in all honesty, the people and lifestyle are our main goals. Names Kevin, nice to meet cha'
