Back To Back | 2016 KTM 450SX-F VS KTM 350SX-F | TransWorld Motocross

In years past, we had thrown the KTM 350 SX-F into our 450 shootout, but since the introduction of the Husqvarna FC 350, we decided that seven bikes were way too much to test. So, we decided to pit the 2016 KTM 350 SX-F against the winner from our 450 shootout. And it just so happened that the winner was the 2016 KTM 450 SX-F. To make this test fair, we went to two different tracks with different terrain-Cahuilla Creek MX and Perris Raceway-and had a lineup of various skill leveled test riders. What did we think? Buyer beware. I rode my brand new 2016 KTM 450 SX-F prepped by KTM for 20 minutes and the rod exploded. I'm hearing at least a month before I get my brand new bike back and they are planning on fixing the motor instead of replacing it. I'm not happy customer. To be continued...

yeah, the usual stories, hey guys i bought a new bike didnt read anything of the manual and instantly went to rev limiter while riding the first 20 minuts. while the manual clearly states do not go above 5000 rpm the first 3 hours. else you will have a engne failure. learn to ride.
