You probably wouldn't win that game anyways, but pay attention to Hieratic Seal, it can only activate it's eff if it's in the extra monster zone. That Thunder Dragon player summoned it in a monster zone appollousa was pointing to, so it was only a 0 atk vanilla monster.

Believe me, Elpy is the more problematic card than Agarpain, since it's the main extender for many decks that utilizes the Guardragons. Like fetching Darkness Metal to make your plays.

Defintely go for the Allures, pure endymion without magicians is way better. doesn't lose to handtraps at all. plus draws out the ass for your outs in game 2-3

Hey Nyhmnim, forget the guardragon combo entirly, focus more on disruptions. one thing i learned when playing pendulum is that they focus so much on the pendulum monster and not on the effect monsters that go with them. there are some really good effect monsters that can disrupt your opponent that are not hand traps or pendulum monsters...

@@tunarulesatca Well there is voltester that can out apolusa and the entire board and the card cant be negated and is a level 7 monster, then there's the tenyi level seven monster (cant remember name at the moment) but hes a free special summon (from the hand if you have no monsters on the board or a normal monster) and he can banish himself to bounce a card back into the deck. then there's mist valley (even though hes not really good in the deck in most cases). what I"m trying to say it depends on the play style and what your trying to achieve with that deck. For example: I run odd eyes salamagreat and the purpose of the deck is to otk my opponent using heatleo's reincarnation effect to decrease the monsters attack, then odd eyes pendulum dragon(s) swing for about 4000 damage or game, if my opponent used destrudo or some card effect thad decreased their lifepoints to 0. (still testing the deck though.)

I stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh when I took my most recent job. I wouldn't be able to make it to any tournaments being on second shift. Because of that, I unsubbed from all competitive, metagame focused, and deck profile channels. You are the only yugituber I still follow. Alright Gage-Senpai I hope you notice me this time. I did the math, and I think I know what might be a good way to optimize using structure decks to get good cards for the deck. I did the math, I crunched the numbers, and I ran the simulations. Here is what I found: Powercode Link (10.89 on Amazon) + Gates to the Underworld (9.44 on TCGPlayer) + Legendary Hero Decks (18.53 on TCGPlayer) You get: - 2 x Effect Veiller - 2 x Forbidden Chalice - 2 x Dark Hole - 1 x LANphorhyncus - 1 x Powercode Talker - 1 x MST - 1 x Beelze of the Diabolic Dragon - 1 x Foolish Burial - 1 x Twin Twisters - 1 x Allure of Darkness - 1 x Eradicator Epidemic Virus Alright, now that I have your attention, let me explain. Effect veiller, twin twisters, allure and foolish burial are self-explanatory, they're ones you've mentioned wanting, except veiller, but veiller is always a good hand trap. Beelze, Powercode, and Forbidden Chalice are just cards I know are decent that come along with the stuff you actually are looking for. MST may be redundant since you plan to get the Rokket deck again at some point and with that, the one you already opened, and this, you'll have 3 Twin Twisters, so MST may be stuck in the box sad face. But Dark Hole is recently at 3 and it makes a good going second board wipe or negate bait. LAN is usefull if electrumite gets ogred or the like, because it still allows you the zones necessary to guardragon combo. EEV in conjunction with Secret Village gives you two blow out cards against Striker and the mirror match tbh. IT can also be used as a sacky card against control decks like Guru or Altergeist. Plus, if you want more than 1 allure, the Underworld structure got reprinted so it's your best bet at getting them, meaning you get more EEVs too, making it even better for its purpose. You'd need more monsters to PROC it, but as it stands, Endymion can be tributed for it. That's not ideal, but I don't think Endymion is great in the control matches. Idk you could just ignore that and not use it, the Allure is still... alluring. :D

Looks like it didn’t end up mattering but remember hieratic spheres can only use his bounce effect if it’s in the extra monster zone. In game three of round one your opponent made it under appolusa so it was actually not a threat to you at all. It’s important to keep in mind for when you eventually get to play spheres yourself as well as now when you’re against it haha

I guess with Citadel now you won't always have Oracle left on the field, but you did still have zefraath in scale, so I stand by the fact that Zefra War would be a decent option. Also, no Raigeki in side? Edit: I tested Zefra War at locals yesterday and it underperformed. One locals a good test does not make but it leads me to believe it's not as good in practice as it is in theory.

In round 4 game 1 you could have summoned jackal king with servant then activated a scale to put counters on jackal so when you linked into electrumite you could negate any hand trap or Nibiru and keep your combo safe. Keep that in mind for the future.

Beware that Magister's monster effect doesn't put a counter on the summon, only the scale effect does that, so make sure to have other cards with counters to use.
