My grandfather bought a new 1953 Willys along with a matching trailer. He had it until he passed in 1979. My uncle bought a new 2000 Jeep Sahara (before they were called Wranglers) and still has it. I finally bought my first Wrangler, a 2024 Wrangler Sport S.S 2-door. Love it. Hope to keep it as long as my grandfather and uncle have kept theirs.

I have a 2024 hard top black Sport, crank windows, open the door with a key, remember to turn headlights on and off, 2-door automatic (no manuals available although was first choice). Paid $32,000 new. Love it but it’s just me and the dog. Super fun to drive. For reference, I am Gen X so no spring chick.

Yeah, everything on the market seems to be the auto, which is a great transmission ( I have it in my 2019 Ram), but looks like I'll have to order one with a manual.

I just bought my first Wrangler, a 2023 Willys 4 door, manual tranny and windows. I've always thought about getting a Wrangler. And I got to say, when you are driving one, you feel large and in charge. I also own a Charger Scatpack and Silverado LTZ, but I can't wait on most days to find a reason to get into that Wrangler and go on a mission!

That's awesome. And nice line up! Everyone should get to enjoy one at some point because it is a pretty unique experience. That is a test for my reviews when I get to borrow a car for a week: do I want to make an excuse to get back into it again lol

Makes sense! I agree on the 2 door. I forgot how much sportier it is. Like how a sports car is more fun than even a sporty sedan, the 2 door is better than the 4 door Jeep. Thanks:)

I love those base model 2 door Wranglers! I've never been one for the styling of the 4 door, to me it just doesn't have that classic WWII military Jeep look. For me, I'd take that base 2 door, 6 speed manual, Sarge Green paint, and be out the door for $47k. In comparison, it looks like the comparable Bronco 2 door with the 7 speed manual would run about $53k and the 4Runner (albeit a 4 door) would run about $55k so Jeep offers a pretty good value here.

Was it a Sport S with power windows and locks? 37k seems high, but it is NY. Either way, I wouldn't cry about 4-5k when you love a vehicle. If it was a sport S, then 37k is normal.

@@Neutralreviews yup, I keep my vehicles for a long time so out the door price, as long as it is similar to other offers in 50 mile radius, I simply say “I’ll take it.” No hassle. I bought my nismo 370 and my Ram like that. In and out 🤤

My apologies about the title. I’m using a consulting service and they suggested changing my original title. We are experimenting with ChatGTP to clean up keywords too. Hopefully it will be better moving forward.

I just looked at a base on Jeep.ca's website saying $43,700 CAS plus fees and taxes. When I put it into a Canadian to US exchange calculator on the web it says around $32K USD. Sounds so much better in USD lol. Fun, fun vehicle!
