I drove an automatic SRT-6 once briefly once. Those vehicles are under-rated and terrifying. If you stomped it the back wheels would spin at 40. I think the traction control was more of a decoration. Fun and under-rated vehicle though.

@NeutralreviewsКүн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. This was the first attempt at trying to carve a niche. I think after watching it back myself during editing I hope to keep that segment around 3mins and add back more time on describing my thoughts on how the car feels in future. The idea is, we are marketed against so much it's hard to know how the vehicle compares to what we've been told. And I want to use my experience in marketing and sales to help people looking looking to buy. Especially in a world where manufacturers are preparing customers to buy over the internet essentially site unseen. Hoping to iron out an interesting, entertaining and informative car review format this year that is a bit different from others who are already successful with this traditional approach. I have been doing this part time for 3years and just need a spark to take it to the next level. Thanks again for taking the time to give such a thoughtful comment.

if that’s true then why are there navigators and f150 with over 300k miles with no issues. Before you run your mouth how things should be made 😂😂where’s your credentials. Because the folks that designed, engineered, and built these cars have credentials.
@Neutralreviews11 күн бұрын
If what is true? Not sure what a F150 has to do with a VW Atlas? And I don't know what you mean by credentials. Most reviewers aren't former designers or engineers. I worked as a salesman for years and went to work under contract for Chrysler CA. I'd appreciate less aggressive comments. I'm trying my best so no need to be rude. This is one EV I have been very much interested in seeing because I have a lot of great memories travelling around in my friend's old Abarth. I'm sure this isn't quite as exciting as an Abarth (fingers crossed for an Abarth version!), but nonetheless the Cinquecento spirit and whimsy is present which makes it an interesting EV. This strikes me as the perfect urban commuter. Thanks for highlighting this one and sharing your thoughts!

Had an NC which was fun but loud. The lack of a liner for the top makes it hard to live with as daily driver. It was quieter with the top down vs up. Moved up to a BMW 128 convertible which is easier on my 60 y/o bones ands more comfortable. The Miata was great fun for awhile though.

Why is it that when it comes to EV’s all people do is road trip, everyday? You have to get past the gas station mentality. The infrastructure is fine, and getting better in NC at least.
@Neutralreviews16 күн бұрын
It is true lol, but NC is only one part of a barren world lol. Up here in the sticks there isn't great infrastructure yet. I agree, most only drive something like 30miles a day or less and plugging in at home is way more convenient, but people like my wife that has to still travel a couple times a month on a 4hr highway commute are pickled lol. Plug in hybrids in my opinion do the trick. In reality because most people don't drive more than the 30miles a day never put out any exhaust CO2 and still have the option to tow or go greater distances. Or just put a hemi in it and call it a day;) Thanks for commenting

Definitely. The point of the video is to try and help save RWD cars from going extinct. For most they are a more fun driving that they can get away with if careful and if they have good snow tires and have no reason to be scared from owning one. Strictly talking fun, which one do you find more fun? This or Golf R?
@Neutralreviews22 күн бұрын
In dry weather the Acura hands down! That said, I took my Golf in the snow and it was the opposite. That was extremely fun. The Type S feels like the CTR in that you feel more connected to the chassis like in a BRZ or Miata, but the 300HP FWD gets old quick when all you do is spin and push towards the ditch. The Golf is German luxury car numb but also German luxury car fast. The Golf in real life feels like a monster in straight line speed and cornering under power. Plus you can go sideways if you want in the Golf unlike the Acura. Both have fun exhaust unlike the muted Honda so that is a tie. I honestly think I'd be happy either way. Summer Type S, Winter R lol

@1bojanbojanАй бұрын
@ few things here. Considering that I have owned an SI for a year I loved it. Great car amazing on fuel and amazing 6 speed transmission and steering feel and love the short gearing. But FWD sucks I couldn’t stand it always spinning and I can’t even imagine if it was Type R with 315hp. Now for the MK8R it’s super luxury and AWD is amazing not to worry about spinning. The transmission feel is not as good as SI but that was quickly fixed with Sportshifters heavy knob ($300can knob) MK8R short gearing is amazing identical to SI and having AWD with short gearing really is enjoyable. I have driven many MK8 GTIs and they’re amazing as well but gearing is way too long 2nd gear redlines about 110kmh vs MK8R 90kmh. Over all can’t go wrong with any of them but SI is not to be even compared to R. GTI and SI is more fair comparison and GTI feel much faster with 241hp. Here’s my video of my R kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHjQi3mdgLCNndksi=advy_ap1j3idU6Ap

@@1bojanbojan Awesome! Agreed. I love the Si but AWD is more fun in the winter. I drove a Type R on a snowy day and it was more frustrating than anything in those conditions. That is saying something because it is one of my favourite cars of all time. I have a GTI as well and it is the natural competitor to the SI. I am always taken away with how much I enjoy driving the Si even though it is probably the slowest out of all the new enthusiast vehicles. Great to know about the shifter. I am surprised they put such a cheap feeling shift knob considering they went to so much effort every where else to feel premium.

I think it's great that you put this together for us! Who knew VW put so much thought into addressing some of the common complaints of these all-touchscreen systems? Considering the challenges faced by early adopters of these systems, it's nice to see this level of thought and user functionality being baked into the systems by the manufacturers who insist on adopting them now. As the owner of a 9th gen Civic with the 1st gen HondaLink system I am definitely biased against these screens because of the poor functionality and responsiveness of mine so I was very appreciative when Honda brought back the buttons and knobs. Of course, like yourself, the touchscreen alone was not a deal breaker for me either and I basically just leave it on the radio screen, other than to make the occasional phone call, and use the steering wheel buttons to adjust volume or change songs so I don't have to interact with it.
