Hey man ! I couldn't write in the chat as it was reserved for the subscribers. But I am the actual creator of the livery I-CNTB for the PA-28, just wanted to tell you that I am happy to see you fly it !

I think flying these props/turbo props and smaller aircraft is smart for attracting a different more passionate demographic of viewers! Not only is it entertaining but also very educational and informative. It makes you stand out from the tube liner streamers for sure :)

Thank you! I enjoy it a ton and I think you are right, the more flights like this weve done Ive seen new "harder core" simmers tune in. Hopefully that continues!

Thank you for making streams with GA aircrafts! I first watched the C310 VOD and now this one. I hope you make more of these back to basic streams!

V1: I love how HAPPY you sound to be flying these cool planes. That pure joy comes through man and it's always a pick-me-up. I appreciate ya. Just watched your long haul outta Rio with the Toliss A340. I picked it up and been watching when I can't fly on my own rig.

great quality stream, back to basics! Shows that there is a lot de depth even with basic single engine prop planes.

Yes indeed! There is much more then just hitting full throttle and turning the autopilot on!

It would be fun to watch in the Archer going into the canyon areas and explaining boxed canyon considerations and other high country concerns. Also a Grand Canyon flyover would be sweet!

I got about 4 hours in this thing when I was training for my CSEL. Then the TAA clause came out in the regs and I switched to a DA40 which was much cheaper lol.

More of this content would be great. Would be really interesting to see high DA mountain flying considerations. I'm from Denver so I'm a bit biased.

About 90% of my flying I do in PA-28. I hate glass cockpit. They don't have "soul", and every cockpit looks the same.

I am loving it honestly. There is no comparing it to a non FFB yoke because it is that much of a game changer. Congrats! Im sure you will love it!!

Problem with these sunrise fliights are the shadows: so dark its hard to see stuff
@V1Sim

Agreed it does make it challenging to see sometimes. I also feel like in recent updates certain aircraft are suffering from the same thing that happened in X-Plane with the dark cockpits.

I love this content, I bought msfs like a year ago, and so far, I only have managed to fly the Cessna 172 and 152 in exactly the same way you fly it, now i wanna change to the beechcraft g36 bonanza. I have one question: How do you make sure to always have the correct barometric presure setting? Do you contact atc or check the metars of the closest airport? How does a metar or atc based pressure information which is on ground level pressure, translate to your actual crusing altitude? Is there like a thumb rule, like each 1000 ft of additional altitude above ground equals a reduction of barometric pressure of a certain amount?
@jasonjada2259
@jasonjada2259 6 ай бұрын
I’d recommend every 50 miles just pulling up on windy, asking atc, or listening to local aTIS info
@Fcreceptor
@Fcreceptor 6 ай бұрын
Up to 18,000 feet you dial in the local altimeter, nearest to you. Nowadays, I would imagine almost all pilots are using ForeFlight and that gives you the nearest barometer reading based on a METAR. On the ground you can adjust an unknown altimeter reading to match the airport elevation.

In sim world I just hit the "b" key and it updates the barro. IRL there are several ways as mentioned, if you are getting flight following the controller will update you on the local setting on a frequency handoff. If you are not talking to anybody (shame on you) but you can dial local airport ATIS/ASOS/AWOS to get a new altimeter or be next gen and use foreflight or some type of onboard data system to pull a nearby metar.
