hey stella try using a fan brush with the hourglass highlight! it will apply the product a bit more dramatically than a denser powder type brush and make it look better! :)

That highlighter palette you bought is kind of interesting, it's actually more of a finishing powder so they are meant to be very subtle! But I think you're right, with your skin tone they just don't show up much at all! Try Laura Geller Gilded Honey highlight - you'll love it!!!

Thank goodness! I almost cried for you when you said that you had lost your makeup bag! The first thing that I thought about was the Ofra highlighter that you mentioned receiving in a Boxycharm and rediscovering. I can't imagine the things that you lost from other countries. :( Losing all of your pretty lipsticks would have been more than just a tragedy! Your lips look good!! Hi Stella! Try spraying your brush with MAC fix plus then applying the Hourglass palette. I was having the same issue as you and someone told me to try that trick. It worked super good! xo

In the U.S are you able to return makeup that you have opened/used? 🤔 In the UK as soon as you open the packaging you can't return it and you could definitely not return it because it doesn't suit you ☹️☹️
