This is the full Back to Eden garden tour from AUG 2020. Paul Gautschi starts tours of his Back to Eden garden in June and they run through September. The tours are every Sunday and start at 2:30PM. I should be there on Sunday, June 20th, 2021 to record the first video of the year. I will need a couple of helpers to hold the cameras. If you would like to help out, let me know before the tour starts. More contact information for Paul or the Back to Eden garden tour can be found at www.backtoeden...
Leave a comment below about what your favorite part of this video was, what you wish I would have got a picture of, any questions you may have about Back to Eden gardening or just to say hi. I also wouldn't be sad if you hit the thumbs up button.
If you like us and want to support the work we do then use this link amzn.to/36xT1aE when you shop on Amazon. It will not cost you any more and Amazon will send us a gift card at the end of the month to buy more things to help make these videos.
We have a mirror account on Odysee & Rumble just in case we get kicked off youtube.
Odysee is kind of like if KZbin and Bitcoin had a baby. They have only been out for about a year so there are fewer content creators. They do not censor content, for the most part, and even if you watch videos they will pay you in their cryptocurrency. They were able to move over all of my videos that were less than two hours long and the rest I will get up there at some point. If you set up an account with them please use my referral link: odysee.com/$/i...
Rumble is more like KZbin with less censorship so a lot of content creators are moving over to that platform. They do not have the ability to move all of my content over in one shot so, I will be doing it manually. I have like 850 videos right now on KZbin. I thought it would be fun to start from the beginning and put up one video a day. If you have only been a subscriber for a year or so, you have missed a lot. If you do not have a Rumble account yet please use my link: rumble.com/reg...

Watching Paul started waking me up. I was a Wiccan that was deep into the psychosis created by man. Paul started me waking up and from there the Creator kept working on me until he knocked on my heart. I am now living my life trying my best to follow the biblical principles and watching it changes radically. God bless you both

I just came across Paul and have been watching anything he is in. What I love most is that anytime he had a issue in his garden or challenge he asked God for the answer and it was simple. Such a good reminder for us and to not over think what has already been happening before us. Thank you for sharing this and allowing it to be public as it is very much time we need to integrate this information and apply it. Many blessings

Finding Paul in my KZbin recommended videos is a blessing indeed 😊. I'm in the wishing and hoping stage of planning a Back To Eden garden on my 1.38 acres. Id like to have a little of everything I've seen on here in my yard. It's clay soil, so I hope to be able to work in a lot of what Paul has taught in the videos. I'm not afraid to put in the work, despite having some back degeneration. The weeding would be the worst for me, so I need to find the same tool Paul demonstrates in the video. Thanks for posting these videos, cuz I'm reminded again what's possible through God.

Here’s the thing, I am laid up again after a winter of sitting too much. Last year, same thing in March. Very difficult to walk… last year I thought I hurt my knee but Holy Spirit taught me something else. My lymph system had solidified and I wasn’t dumping my waste properly. It manifested as joint pain. Castor oil packs, lymphatic massage cleared up my system and the knee pain disappeared. This year, same thing! A winter of sitting too much has my other knee misbehaving. Back to cleaning out my lymph system!

Free to watch on KZbin gets the information out there. I did make one exception once. During the Indiegogo for the second edition of "Growing Food God's Way" I gave a unpublished video to the author to use as a reward. It is one of my favorite videos and he sent it out on thumb drive. Still, maybe one day.

I am in the process of putting wood chips in my garden and I have bare root fruit trees to plant. How old should a fruit tree be, before grafting into it? Thank you very much for your videos and for sharing the knowledge and for God’s word💖
@L2Survive
@L2Survive 5 ай бұрын
Here is a video of Paul showing how to graft a tree. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHTGf6FmjLd9o9ksi=-ziCTvwi0d_g0N1i Since Paul's soil is so good already, he can do it on year one. I buy bare root grafted trees at Costco which look like they are one year old. I think the main thing to look at is how good is your root structure. If you are planting bare root trees, they are going to need all of their energy to dig in their roots. I would wait a year especially if you haven't had the woodchips down too long. In my garden, we had sand. I covered the area with woodchips and planted a few trees. They struggled the first couple of years if they made it at all. Now the trees that I have there are doing well and I would feel comfortable grafting into them.

it's all about covering i used dead leafs and wood chips for my berry containers and now i get my harvest of a few abricots and i had several handfulls of blueberries from one container all mulched with leafmulch. On my treecontainer i noticed something. my soil gets consumed i need to add more, i had to give the bottom more soil because there is no sand only broken down material. by taking the leafmulch up adding more compost and put the mulch back to it's position. I experimented with the aeration of the soil and here is how it went.. when i dug down with my hand in a 50 cm deep container ; my hand just pierced through without resistance and my trees are doing fine (leafmulch only). thank you L2 Survive god told me one thing about acidic soil and nutrient rich soil when i talk about blue berries ; because they love acidic soil , and that's why they have no problems eating half composted soil. And the way they do that is by only having shallow roots.they can be next to my tree.

Do you know why Paul is setting up irrigation? I believe he was against it. He mentioned about farmers doing it wrong in another video.
@L2Survive
@L2Survive 3 жыл бұрын
With B2E gardening you use woodchips on top of the soil to keep the moisture in. In his garden area, Paul uses compost out of his chicken pen which does contain some sifted woodchips but, not enough to provide as much of a moisture barrier as 6 inches of woodchips. When he is sprouting his direct sow seeds, he waters them a bit. When the summer comes and it doesn't rain for a while, he will water the garden area. Having to water that big of a garden during those times takes a while so, he is putting in a sprinkler system to use for those few times he has to water. The orchard is still not being watered because of the thick layer of woodchips including the vegetables that he plants in the orchard.

@L2Survive
@L2Survive 10 ай бұрын
It is not only the amount of the water but, the heat. Paul gets about 16 inches of rain per year. In the desert of Eastern Washington we get about 12 inches per year. Our temps get up to 100 degrees for the summer and we have sand for soil. Adding the woodchips has helped keep what water we get but, we have to water every night for about 20 minutes. If you are going to water, do it in the evening to let the water soak into the soil and not dry on the top.

Throughout the video Paul refers to wood chips, but he specifies that it's the waste from chipper machines that tree trimmers use. The chipper waste has leaves needles stems as well as the woody branches Etc. He recommends making friends with someone that has a tree trimming business. He's not recommending that you buy a bunch of plastic bags of wood chips. This July I found a tree trimmer to dump his waste at my place, I sifted through the hardware cloth for the fines. Definitely on the right track :-)

Question for Paul: I noticed that you sometimes walk around with a rake and rake your wood chips, should I do this as well? I noticed when I first started your back to Eden method of gardening, I put down wood chips that were basically big chunks of wood with no leaves in them, and now that I have gotten a little more familiar with how it works I have been putting down finer material with compost and fresh leaves and needles and such, but I'm wondering if I should rake what I'm doing so that those bigger pieces of wood will sit on top of what I put down?
@dawnbern2917
@dawnbern2917 Жыл бұрын
I've watched quite a bit of his videos, and as far as I can tell he only rakes what he calls the 'fines'. He sifts the chipped material through hardware cloth and gets the fines and puts the stuff that doesn't go through the hardware cloth underneath the trees and other perennials.

I think he was talking about the drain field for his septic system serving as sub irrigation for some shallow planted herbs nearby, not an irrigation system for his garden.

As one of Jehovah's witnesses I can truly say that everything Paul talks about about the creator it's true because he backs everything up with scripture and I hardly ever find anybody that knows their Bible this well listen to him

Paul says you need whole chipper waste, from someone that has a tree trimming business. Plastic bags of stuff you buy at the store is not what he is recommending. Best to you.

I am very heat sensitive. I can't garden in this weather. Asking the Lord how to fix this problem, but I wonder if paul has any recommendations. I bet he doesn't get dehydrated and that helps

As much as I like Paul, I find it rather comical that he says we don't have much time left on this earth as we know it. I've been hearing that my entire life and people have been saying that with 100% certainty for hundreds if not thousands of years now. When will people stop predicting such a thing?

It was definitely by Mark Virkler (www.amazon.com/Mark-Virkler/e/B003GLOAMY?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1617534097&sr=1-1) and I think it was probably, 'How to Hear God's Voice' (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051GN2JY/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i3), though I think he said How to Hear the Voice of God.

This was so joyful to watch. What a tour, and experience to be in the presence of such an energy force of nature, Paul I mean😅❤ My small attempt to use this knowledge had me go grab 2 loafs of ripend pine shavings( Guinea Pig, & Rabbit bedding) and I covered all my growing areas with a nice thick layer. I sprayed it with Fish Hydrolysate I made from Portuguese whole sardines, because I heard it promotes fungal development, that gets the decomposition of the wood rocking. I saw no nitrogen fixation, but what I saw was happy plants, stable soil temps, and moisture levels maintained just perfectly. Amazing how fast your ideas helped another person. Thanks. 🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦👊🏻👨🏻‍🌾💖🌞🍄 Watching this is Happiness 😊

Thank you for saying what I have said all my life of Genesis, I never understood when it says clearly that god made nuts, fruits and seeds to eat as meant and only beasts to govern over, yet religious people eat meat when it is clearly stated not to in Genesis and also in the commandments Thou Shall Not Kill, yet they will justify themselves, so why do they eat meat? The devil lives in meat it is the corrupter of men. Yet most will say it doesn't say that but it does and they will try to reword it but my grammas 1800 bible clearly does say beast to govern over (ONLY NO EATING). The Essene Gospel Of Peace clearly says it as well and the dead sea scrolls. Thank you Paul for living as gods creation and being an example.
