This song never gets old. Rob Thomas is one of the last few singer/songwriters around and one of the best ever. And, like, how good do you have to be to sound better live than the recording? And he's just showing off to sing this live in a way that sounds slightly off but on time the whole way. Not to mention how he discusses an uncomfortable topic in such an incredible song.

You said it right. :)

What do you think the topic is?
@alonazares2640 Жыл бұрын
@@susanlawrence8401most of us lie to ourselves, we have wishes and desires that aren't aligned with how we live and how we express ourselves, we keep lying, we keep living the lie, or we keep pretending until we are totally lost that our authentic self is buried hence we cannot get back to good.

Dear Rob Thomas I want to Thankyou for your wonderful songs. They have given our family lots of good memories. We were set to see you in Oklahoma city when the tragedy of the twin towers happened. Sadly in 2010 one of your hugest fans my big sister and best friend past away ..sharing a couple of memories with you about her . Everytime we gathered at her house matchbox twenty was always on . When the song Push would come on she would playfully start pushing everyone around onetime I wasnt expecting I actually fell lol we All started laughing !!! She felt bad but I was okay. another time I came over she had a copy of your song written on a sheet paper it was your song "unwell" we sang it together at her kitchen table. I will never forget that . It immediately became my song . I have Chronic PTSD . Somehow knowing her she probably knew that song would help me. I will see my sister again when she is resurrected and I cannot wait for that time . John 5:28 you know we were going to try and see you guys in August at the Zoo amphitheatre..but now with the virus that may not happen... but if its possible we will be the ones out there with tshirts on saying "I'm not crazy I'm just a little impaired lol" but you know what we all can still hear your solo music and your matchbox twenty music on our phones. So Thankful for that. So many of your songs get to me like your song "Little Wonders " I appreciate what you and wife are doing to help animals. They are a Great gift from God. I also love street corner symphony. So again Thankyou so much Rob Thomas and the rest of Matchbox twenty guys you have made an impact on my life as well as many others I'm sure. I usually dont write on these comments but my husband and I were in a near fatal accident last week..i thought i was going to lose my best friend and it has cranked up my ptsd to the limit ...just feel like i should get things out there that mean something to me.. and your music has met so much to me and my family . THANKYOU !!!!

This comment, should be written to him directly. He does have a fanmail email. I'm glad your husband survived, and my condolences for your sister. Really, take this right to him, and I will bet you anything, you'll get a reply directly from him, because he's like that.
