Always like checking out your videos see if I recognize the trails y’all are on? Yep, I recognize that trail. We always say it the camera never does it justice on those steep inclines. Man that creek sure was dry! Thanks for taking us along buddy.

Thanks KC. We do the same when we watch your videos LOL! That trail is certainly a steep one for sure. Man we need rain so bad, and I am hearing that we are not going to be getting any anytime soon. Not good. Half the state or more is under a burn ban. All the rivers and creeks in the big piney area are just about dry as a bone. Not cool! Thanks for following along KC. Tell the crew we said Hello!

Good ride as always. (I noticed right at the beginning you drove by an old Dodge Town Wagon. I've thought one of those would be a good restoration/upgrade project for a unique old yet modern SUV.) Great job editing too. That's what makes your videos a cut above most of the others out on the interwebs.

@@Snarge22 hey buddy thanks for watching! You know i don't think we even noticed that Dodge! Very cool. Appreciate the compliment. I'm trying to keep it fresh with the camera angles for sure! Thanks again for tuning in.

Its the best place to ride in the entire state. Glad you guys had a good time!!! Thats always nice to hear. Where you guys from?

@miillersoffroad I agree. We normally ride up in Mena, but after watching your videos, we knew we had to get up to Mike's Pines. We're from Longview, Texas. That's about a 5 hour drive. Well worth it for sure. We noticed the gentleman that owns Mike's Pines was selling. I hope it goes to a good owner. He's asking 1.25m to start. I believe he said he's got 28 acres along with the cafe (which was closed last week) and 8 cabins. Not to mention the bath house, camping areas, etc. Sure was looking forward to their café. Hear it's pretty good.

Man, all of the creeks were low as hell. We rode out to Hillbilly Slims for lunch. Very good bbq. Especially their apple barbecue sauce...Something like that. Man it was good. On our way back we stopped by Mill Hole Falls and it was low as heck. I know Arkansas has been in a drought, but some of the other crossings were nothing but rocks. Crazy to see... we're used to seeing water falls and plenty of water when we ride up in Arkansas. It was a beautiful ride none the less. I'd love to move up there man. So beautiful.

@@chrisdavis9318 it's the worst drought I've ever seen in the Ozarks. Some of the creeks we have been riding through that are just rocks I've never seen dry in my life. Interesting that Greg is selling. The cafe is good, but it's nothing special either.
@chrisdavis9318Ай бұрын
@miillersoffroad Yes sir. All of the locals said the same thing regarding the drought. Greg said he and his wife were ready to slow down and stop working so much. Thanks again for sharing your videos. Looking forward to my next ride.

@@reddfoxx2861 thank you for tuning in! Man I love the Can-Am. Kawasaki has always made a great machine but there's just no comparison. The Can-Am has more power on the top end, and a much smoother ride overall. Not near as sore at the end of an 8 hour ride.

What kind of helmet and coms do y’all use? Great ride guys!
@miillersoffroad2 ай бұрын
We all use different brands of helmets. Mine, the green one, is a Fly Racing helmet. Not sure the model. The coms we use are the Cardo Packtalk Bold. They are discontinued, but we have not felt the need to update because the new ones will not increase range. They work just fine and are fairly inexpensive if you look on ebay.

Great video as always! What communication system do you guys use? And what's your recommendation on a good phone holder? Thanks for the help!
@miillersoffroad2 ай бұрын
@@philipalexius8047 we use Cardo Packtalk Bold communicators, you can snag them on eBay brand new around $100. They are discontinued. The new ones have updated Bluetooth but it doesn't translate to extended range so it's not worth the additional cost in our opinion. I like the iMESTOU motorcycle phone mount. It will charge your device wirelessly and has been solid for me for years. Matt runs a RAM mount phone holder attached to the dash of his bike and then just plugs it in to the cigarette lighter. Both are great options.

@@miillersoffroad I stopped and looked at a 25 1000R XT Friday . They’re so much improved. Which we’ve had a gen 3 500 since March so I’m already familiar . Everything’s better from fit and finish overall quality shifter and most importantly to me , it has bevel cut rear end gears unlike the straight cut on your 850 and my 1000 that make the obnoxious whine at speed . Went up almost 2k$ though sadly . XT now gets 4Lok as well. I want to trade but sheesh at the $$$.
@miillersoffroad2 ай бұрын
@@joekearney no kidding! They sure look good. One thing I don't like, I heard the battery is mounted underneath like the old Honda Rubicons. The exhaust looks awesome. Honestly though, if I were buying a new one right now I would probably just buy the exact same thing I've already got. The Gen 2s are just solid. Not worth the extra money in my opinion if I'm buying new right now. You know the 24 models are probably deeply discounted right now.

@@miillersoffroad Yea it’s mounted under the right rear fender and the plastic guard isn’t gonna stop much from working it’s way all in there . I’d coat the crap out of the cable ends and posts with dielectric grease and put rubber boots on them etc .
