To me MK11 was the BEST design-wise. I absolutely loved all the outfits, everything was so beautifully designed, especially the classic outfits!

I highly agree with you on that, I recently installed MKX and MK11 and it feels so good to play with my old mains again, Ferra/Torr (MKX) and Cetrion (MK11) one on one feels sooo good without Kameos

I completely get the people who prefer MK11 over MK1, the content is just better. But the gameplay of MK1 is just so superior that I really hope they‘ll keep the game alive with new updates. No matter the hate, I really enjoy MK1 a lot and I wish it had as much content as MK11 did. Hopefully they’ll take their time for MK2 so they’ll be able to combine the best aspects of both games.

For the next game they should combine the amazing visual design of MK11, the creativity and customization and combine with the good things MK1 has and also maybe make new stuff on the gameplay, remove things everyone hates and stuff like that, then we'd have an amazing game. Also they should bring Jade and Skarlet back.

I love MK11. 1vs1 main mode. Complete fighters without Kameo. Interesting Krypt, towers of time, Krushig blow, Skins & Gears ... P.S. Skarlet, Fujin, Rain, even D'Vorah were my favorite.

Damn, Losty on MK11. And Skarlets voice soo goood, if only she voiced Nitara. I also miss Loud and Klear the variation of Sindel and imo her looks were top notch in this game. Like MK1 Sindel's personality with MK11 Sindel's looks, golden. I'd love to see MK9 Sindel, MK9 Jade gameplay Losty as well. I miss how they were back then as well.

When mk10 came out people went back to mk9 when mk11 came out they went back to mk10 saying it was better and now people are doing it to mk1. Guys it's called withdrawal syndrome.... change is the only thing constant in this world and you have to keep up with it at some point

Love to see you back, Losty! I remember watching you play when i didn't have a PC that could run MK11... Guess what, girl?!!! Now i have a PC that can run it and i'm getting into it!!! I even got a Ps4 controller for my PC so i could play better cause the Xbox one wasn't a good choice for fighting games 😅 I'm still not playing online, though, i'm too trash haha, but i main Kitana and i'm learning to play her and make her combos offline on training and towers as well!

Oh and btw i got the kombat pack 2 i think and OMG Mileena is so hard to play, it feels like nothing connects in her moveset and like she has only short kombos. Also there's gaps...

I wish MK would expand on ideas instead of scrapping mechanics every game and creating new gimmicks that turn off legacy players. MK11 definitely had its issues (breakaway, unbalanced krushing blows and I personally didn’t like how they handled variations). But the foundation was there. I wish MK1 had elements of X and 11 like running, modified KBs (treat them like a counter hit mechanic that creates new Kombos for everyone, like how SF and Tekken create crumple states). MK1 could have added the air kombos. But instead they scrapped almost everything and added kameos, which will most likely never be seen again.

I think they loved the komsumables in MK11 and decided to make that an integral part of the gameplay 😂 but yeah they should try to better the mechanica, not just scrap them.

the design jump for this game felt so dramatically different from MKX but MK1 just feels like they made MK11 more saturated and colorful .. almost cartoony and silly imo it doesnt really feel like a mortal kombat game . I wouldve rather seen injustice roster with MK guest characters but at least the gameplay in MK1 is a lot more fun. If it werent so inconsistent. I prefer the cinematics of the krushing blow system and the darker contrasted colors. This made it feel like real life actors fighting on a stage whereas now theres a whole bunch going on and the camera is zoomed out further. Makes the matches seem less intimate for me in MK1.
