Hi Daniel I have moved to Octopus Outgoing to get the 15p export and am on it as from December 1st also. I got one of the last FIT deals where I get paid for generation and also deemed export of 50% of the generation but my FIT provider was moving me to smart export (as in they would only pay me for actual export) this is fair enough but the rate was only 6.7p per kwh in the last quarter for the export and found out that I could stop the export from the FIT and get Octopus to take this over so a no brainer at the moment. My 0ctopus dashboard shows my starting reading but no data on the export is showing as yet. Looking forward to sunnier months and seeing the export data in the dashboard.

Hi, Does the Export MPAN actually show on your smart meter. I can see Total Act Export or 11kwh but so far Octopus refuse to read this meter asking for a MCS certificate. Seems silly. wish they would just pay up a little as a sign of good customer service.

It's 27th December and I've just received a SP export invoice for over £60 which they should be paying into my bank. So I'm happy they have paid out. They state they now payout/want a reading every 90 days.

my rate with octopus is different to that, I get 5.76p from 0200 to 0500 then 16.93 from 0500 to 1600, then 28.1p from 1600 to 1900 and then 16.93p from 1900 to 0200, plus VAT, I think they call it flexible octopus and I charge my car if needed between 0200 to 0500 and also the battery is topped up every night between these hours, I think its about 19p cheap, 27p standard and 40p peak so not a bad deal, only regret I wish I had a bigger battery as mine is only 5KW

I saw your original video about Scottish power and was thinking of changing myself because my Zappi wasn't compatible with Intelligent but didn't and glad I didn't as it is now. However I'm still on the lite tariff I have emailed them but find they don't respond do you normally end up calling them?

I've never spoken to SP. Just emailed them, and that seems to trigger what I want to happen, even though they never seem to reply to the emails.

Axle worked well for both SP and Octopus export and I didn't have to tell Axle that I'd moved. I just still got paid by Axle as normal.

@@daniel_coe so you use Givback for DFS and octopus for SEG? I exported about 15kwh for first 3 saver sessions and Octopus refused to pay for anything other than what I had not used as I was on battery. Reason was cos I was not on an export tariff yet as I am still on assumed with FITS and as I am sure you know it takes Scottish Power months to do anything. Also still waiting for DNO letter 5 weeks after battery install. Givback seems be ok with the fits so I signed up but they have either not had a session since or not told me cos Im not signed up fully. Still doing the saver on Octopus till Axil tell me any different. Topping that up by importing between 5 and 6 each night. Costs me about £1 a day extra but I get it back in spades on saver day. Need this wind to go away or they wont need DFS sessions
