Glad to see you guys back, when you were putting up the 4th tongue and groove board on the wall Joe a mouse ran out from behind you and when in the woodpile by the stove I've waited a long time for more camp videos

Joe and Donnie great looking cabin. I've watched every episode and enjoy you guys immensely. Stevie looks like a good man to me. The down east boys are quite a crew. (Brandon) I watch a lot of your fishing, too. That's how I found you Mainers. Enjoy the summer and don't eat to much ice cream! I'll be up that way for the Pemaquid Oyster Festival.

Driving south sucks. My wife and I went to Bangor to the casino for the weekend and when we left Sunday I got on the interstate and started heading north and as we know that is not the right direction to get back to West Gardiner.😂habit and not wanting to go home and back to work kicked in. Glad to see the cabin again hope you get some trout fishing in while you are up there when they start hitting. Can’t wait for the new vids.
@JoeHollandFishing3 ай бұрын
That’s funny I’ve done that so many times just naturally headed her north

After doing my entire cabin with t&g, I don’t care if I ever touch the stuff again.. haha. I even had a hard time editing the video. Wasn’t all that fun, especially on the ceiling
@JoeHollandFishing3 ай бұрын
I completely agree especially with the editing part. very challenging.

I’m not a professional builder but no vapor barrier?
@JoeHollandFishing3 ай бұрын
You want it to breathe a little but we may have messed up on the ventilation
@Saskatchewan19843 ай бұрын
Not a builder either , but believe with the type of insulation they used , vapour barrier isn’t needed ,

My family has had our cabin since 1936. Seeing you guys bring that couch in reminded me of a saying we have. This is where lazyboys come to die. Seems like every time somebody got new furniture the old stuff ended up at the cabin. I can say with a degree of certainty that we never had a new couch in our camp. The cabin is looking good.
@JoeHollandFishing3 ай бұрын
We have the same saying too!!!

That Makita 2708 Table Saw on the porch is a textbook example of product that is so good that they can't make it anymore.

I have a spare that has never been used and this one in the vid has been beaten, abused, left outside and more and still runs like new.
