Back to our Happy Place

Sisi and I went back again to Kaliraya Surf Kamp exactly one month after we visited last 26 April 2023. We enjoyed every bit of our adventure for 7 days and 6 nights straight.
Since we stayed for several days, our food run out of stock. Good thing there are a number of eateries outside along the hi-way that sell cooked food. A sari-sari store situated beside the entrance is also available selling grocery items.
During our stay, the weather was fairly good. There were days when it's sunny and light rains would fall at any moment. Most of the time, the lake was at low tide so Sisi and I were able to go below and take a stroll on the dry areas.
We also had a chance to see the sun as it rises early in the morning and appreciate the golden hour as it goes down at late afternoon until twilight.
It was pleasant to sleep at night because of the cold breeze of air. Sisi and I would usually sleep together in the hammock or on the bed under the tarp. The only drawback is that there were big black ants that would crawl all over and bite which bother us sometimes.
At daytime, Sisi and I would just enjoy the relaxing views of the lake and feel the freezing cold breeze of air while taking naps and listening to soft music. I also gather dried branches around to be used for cooking and bonfire during our entire stay.
Just before nightime, I would hear enchanting sounds of birds and crickets, and even hear fishes jumping in the pitch black lake like they were playing.
Climate in the campsite is somewhat unpredictable. Last time we were here, it was way colder and more windy unlike this time.
I was able to make a bonfire on the wee hours when it started to get colder and more windy. Sipping a hot cup of coffee while infront of the fire was a perfect idea for added warmth.
Overall, our camping experience was as memorable just like our previous visits. We'll definitely come back again to our Happy Place.
