So the thing to realize about any reality-based media is that the showrunners are always looking for a topic for the "show" or documentary. When cameras are on for six years, there is likely a whole lot of nothing going on worth saving, and when it comes to condensining that down into a digestible final product, they are going to latch onto and enhance a particular storyline. I know nothing about this documtary in question, but there is no doubt heavy production (including post-production) going into the friend story. It's likely less about the frind feeding into the narrative than it is the production team trying to make a story out of six years of normal life.

I write, record and release music on various streaming platforms and locally I get people come up to me sometimespassing comments on my music and what their favourite songs are and I get REAL AWKWARD when it happens! I’d love for my music to be picked up and for me to be signed however I do it for my own therapy otherwise I’d be dead or in prison. But when you see the people who are listening to it face to face I get a little taken aback!

Seeing the celebrity chaos I don't understand how paparazzi is ok that's like allowed Stalkers with cameras smh 🤦‍♀️ it always annoyed me especially when they huddle up and are rude if the person doesn't want to talk. I went to AGT and there was cameras everywhere however it wasn't live it was auditions and they told us when to bug out, dance and have fun and when to stop it wasn't uncomfortable it was fun and everyone I met was Amazing we had a blast I made Great friends with Amazing Talents and we all root each other on. Completely two different situations however when you are ok with the cameras is when it's ok they should of asked you at the show I'm sure once whoever signs to go to these shows gives them permission to do whatever with the cams is annoying. Your dad back in the day would of punched the camera guy 🤣 which that wouldn't be good anytime however how do you expect someone to react when you are up in their face.

I love the title of this episode and what Halie said near the beginning about her feelings at the Hall of Fame induction. I think she is right. It is fake. People are one way when they know they're in front of cameras, and they're another way in private when they don't think they have a camera on them. We can only take what we see on a screen so seriously. It's all fake to some degree. Might as well watch a movie and just see good acting

Hailey I know the endless comments about your dad probably get very irritating at times, but I hope you know that as much as his fans love him, they love you just as much. His discography is basically one big autobiography, and he’s always had the ability to transport everyone into his world and provoke such deep emotions while taking us on his journey. Since you were always such a big part of that, everyone fell in love with you as well. There will never be another Eminem, not just because he’s a great rapper, but because of his ability to connect with people on such a deep level. He’s saved countless lives by being so relatable and putting everything out there. You are genuinely the most loved child of any musician ever because of that, and everyone is so proud of the woman you’ve become.❤

EMINEM has done well to raise such an amazing daughter. Halie is just so down to earth. It's also really nice to hear how proud she is of her dad. I'm in my late 30s so I grew up listening to EM, he really is the G.O.A.T!!! His music will live on for many generations to come.

The Selena thing has me in my feelings because I’m a transplant recipient and it really bothers me when she gets into some sort of drama with Francia, her donor. I like both of them and I understand both sides of it. It was the tweet that pissed me off lol. What I will say about my experience with having a life-saving transplant in my 20’s: I can’t put into words the agonizing pain involved in recovering from a transplant (if you even survive the surgery). And your body will never be the same. I’m not sure if it’s easier or harder to recover as the donor, but regardless it’s still a major surgery and a MAJOR sacrifice to donate a kidney. Kidneys and lungs are the hardest organs to get. You get placed on a waiting list normally and tons of people never get the organ in time and end up dying, including some best friends of mine. An average of 22 people die every DAY waiting for an organ that never came. And I’ll say again I LIKE Selena, but I just really want people to understand the seriousness of this process and why some people are more sensitive about it than others. Francia gave her the greatest gift anyone could ever give.. the gift of a second chance at life. Like I said though I do understand both sides of the argument. It just carries a little more weight when you or someone you know has been through the organ donation/transplant process. My donor passed away and because he was a donor, he saved my life and I believe at least 3 or 4 people on the same night as me. I can’t thank him so I had his initials tattooed on me❤️

It made my heart smile that you never had to deal with the paparazzi until now. The way your dad raised you and your sisters was pretty great considering who he is. Not that a rapper can't be a good dad, but usually Hollywood elite raise their kids in a stuck up, hollywood lifestyle. That was a really good parenting choice, in my opinion. First, a few episodes ago you said you weren’t sure how you liked your hair but seeing clips (Insta algorithm) of your dads speech and the camera being on you, I kept staring at your hair because I LOVED it. So cute. Second, there’s also talk about Tom Brady and this being his last season and getting a huge commentator deal that he didn’t want to sign until after the divorce was filed because he did t want his wife to get any of the money from it. ☕️ Third, Britney the podcast isn’t the same without you and we’re glad your back and feeling somewhat better.
