At my school we are not allowed to go outside for a breather one of my friends passed out because she was hot and needed air. And a lot of the time in loads of my lessons I always have everyone staring at me due to the fact that when I have bad panic/anxiety attacks my teachers just lets everyone watch me xx

None of my teachers ever let me either so I went to thr schools pastoral support teacher who deals with our problems and work experienfe and things and she gave me a time out pass to help me with my anxiety. Sapphire Linthwaite you should have every right to be able to walk out of the classroom if you need it! Health really needs to come before education sometimes. As humans, if we are not in the right state of mind we cannot work to the best of our ability. I am from the UK and in my school we have a 'Time Out Pass' to use if you need 5 minutes to yourself. I have never had one though myself.

I had/have a time out pass aswell. I used to have depression and anxiety so I have one. If teachers dont let you leave, then you need to talk to your parents/carers and talk to your teacher/form teacher, the school nurse, head of year, head of house, headteacher. Anyone who can make an impact, try and talk to them. Xx

We wear jumpers and thick blazers we aren't aloud to take them of or we will get a detention and we are not aloud to drink and you have 5-9 pieces of work a day we only get 30 mins to eat lunch and will get detention if we try finish after bell goes (English public high school) private schools are even worse

Tip: Right when you wake up, eat breakfast. Next day you wake up, you'll wake up when you ate breakfast the other day. Your Brian tells you when to eat and it changes the schedule of eating or something. I read it as a fact, and I tried it and it worked.

if your going to leave your hair wet over night , flip it upside down and dry the roots so the damp doesn't damage your scalp! also sea salt spray and a braid over night works wonders!

I haven't gone to school for an entire semester because my anxiety is so bad. if I went I would leave after like first period. plus i got more anxiety walking home by myself but it was worth it just to get home because that's my safe place. I'm going to try to go this up coming semester and do work over the summer. any tips from anyone please. my teachers never let me leave the room.

I think it's very brave of you to plan to go back to school next semester despite your anxiety and I would suggest maybe talking to your school counselor or principal (or having a family member/guardian call in for you whatever you're comfortable with) so that you'll be able to get special permission to leave class for a bit because of your anxiety. Doesn't have to be a big deal just asking to go to the bathroom for a second and having your teachers know they shouldn't be prying and that you may just need some time to yourself. Also, if that won't work, you can try finding something that distracts your mind for a bit that you can do it class. Drawing, tapping your foot, singing in your head, etc.

It is actually your own right to leave, I suggest maybe having a chat with either your teacher or the guidance councilor. School is meant to be as stress free as possible and it's not right for them to do that. If that doesn't work, you could always just ask to use the bathroom or water break but that might have a less chance of working every time. Anxiety does get better one step at a time. Don't listen to what others are saying, some people are just more social then others and they have to except that. Just challenge yourself a tiny bit everyday by doing something just slightly out of your comfort zone. It might feel like hell but at least you could look on it later and say, "wow I actually did that." You're very brace for even going to school when it's difficult. Hope everything ends up well!

if you have a pastoral support team talk to them because at my school they gave me a card that meant that if I needed a break in would just have to show them the card and they could not make me stay. you can have a time oit and if our feel up for it go back in. however I am dealing with this but everyone says that I think I am worse off that I actually am

my high school had so many rules in the lower levels, no makeup no nail polish but once you're a senior they stopped caring. I wore dark eyes, bright lipsticks, I painted my nails everyday and dyed my hair all kinds of colours and I never got in trouble
