I’ve only been decorating cakes for a year now, got thrown into at work when our second decorator quit. Had no prior experience and I’m still learning so I come to KZbin and watch videos on new techniques to practice. Viva brand "Signature Cloth" paper towels work great for smoothing icing too. They are smooth like a baby wipe. I Ice mine as smooth as I can, Put it in the fridge to harden the butter cream back up a little ( I live in Texas, Butter Cream gets soft QUICK here LOL! ) Take out of fridge and use Viva paper towels as you did with the napkins :)
