Music, films, culture in general. There's a reason so much of today's style and pop culture is 80's inspired. It's because that's when civilisation peaked and it's all been downhill since then.

@@chrishateley5582 Lol 80s movies are the worst. That's when they started to aim movies more and more towards a specific audience. 70's is without contest the best decade for movies. Not saying I don't like 80's movies, but you like them because they are bad

The mid 90's is when music died. The overabundance of manufactured boy and girl groups destroyed pop music by saturating the market with soulless, same-sounding drivel marketed towards the lowest common denominator. Pop stars ceased to be artists and became nothing more than shiny faces to put on the CD covers with no creative input whatsoever. If the biggest pop stars of the late 90s had never been born we'd still have their exact same songs just sung by different people.

No young person is going to remember this movie, despite it being a true 80's classic, because we were too young. Hell I was born in 94 and I can barely remember the late 2000s. American Dad gives us a good throwback to inspire interest in these 80's movies anyway. I'd think most of the people that remember that time would be happy we're interested in it too. Besides that sequence from American Dad is priceless.

Man you guys make me feel old. Born in '61 and went to college in the 80's so this one hits home. Wow, future wife and I with the top out of the 83 RX-7 and this blaring. Now I'm depressed. The late great Rodney, and the late great Sam Kinison. Doesn't get any better. I can't wash my car without thinking...You do a nice job...how much do you charge for big cars.

You don't have to feel old. I bet you had a great time back then, and that's all that counts. Every phase of life has its own values, but we don't realize it until it's over.

It's your life and I'm not gonna live it A change is coming and it's overdue I'm gonna take you over the limit You know I'm only looking out for you I get lucky, I get lucky And I'll see you get lucky too I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school When logic fails, don't lose your head You just turn to me instead Hold on, baby, now here we go back to school Here we go! I wanna wear a big school letter I wanna write poetry Why don't you take off that big blue sweater? Come on and we'll make history I get lucky, I get lucky I'll see you get lucky too I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school When logic fails, don't lose your head You just turn to me instead Hold on, baby, now here we go back to school We could spend the night in some ivory tower And watch the world go by 'Cause every dream we have It's all within our power Let's make our move tonight Look out! Lucky, I get lucky And I'll see you get lucky too! I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school When logic fails, don't lose your head You just turn to me instead Hold on, baby, now here we go back to school I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school When logic fails, don't lose your head You just turn to me instead Hold on, baby, now here we go back to school I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school 8/12/2024
