Music, films, culture in general. There's a reason so much of today's style and pop culture is 80's inspired. It's because that's when civilisation peaked and it's all been downhill since then.

The mid 90's is when music died. The overabundance of manufactured boy and girl groups destroyed pop music by saturating the market with soulless, same-sounding drivel marketed towards the lowest common denominator. Pop stars ceased to be artists and became nothing more than shiny faces to put on the CD covers with no creative input whatsoever. If the biggest pop stars of the late 90s had never been born we'd still have their exact same songs just sung by different people.

No young person is going to remember this movie, despite it being a true 80's classic, because we were too young. Hell I was born in 94 and I can barely remember the late 2000s. American Dad gives us a good throwback to inspire interest in these 80's movies anyway. I'd think most of the people that remember that time would be happy we're interested in it too. Besides that sequence from American Dad is priceless.

Come on and we'll make history I get lucky, I get lucky I'll see you get lucky too I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school When logic fails, don't lose your head You just turn to me instead Hold on, baby, now here we go back to school We could spend the night in some ivory tower And watch the world go by 'Cause every dream we have It's all within our power Let's make our move tonight Look out! Lucky, I get lucky And I'll see you get lucky too! I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school When logic fails, don't lose your head You just turn to me instead Hold on, baby, now here we go back to school I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school When logic fails, don't lose your head You just turn to me instead Hold on, baby, now here we go back to school I'll be there when you're gettin' it right That's the beauty of living my life Hold on, baby, I'm takin' you back to school 8/12/2024

No guilt needed. It's funny, it's touching and it's a lovely time capsule. And has a great soundtrack too!

Why do some people care where others hears this song first? Can't we just enjoy it together? We are all here for the great song anyway.

Principal Lewis says Stan what are you doing? You don't have to come to class, just show up for the wrestling match, then Stan tries to return the VW bug he rented.... But they said no.
