Pro tip: lightly coat the tofu in corn starch to make them crispy when frying in a pan! Works pretty well, you can season the corn starch as well for more flavor

I didn't see anyone else mention it but the best crispy tofu that I've tasted is one that I made in the air fryer. All you do is slice, and cook according to the machine suggestions. I pour the sauce mixture on after it's done and it taste really good.
