I thought Christy was my favorite because I find her so beautiful, or Shalom because of her captivating facial gestures and walks, but Linda is such a versatile model and looks great on everything. Famed and highly respected Vogue fashion editor and strict perfectionist Anna Wintour (Meryl's Streep character inspiration in the Devil Wears Prada) said that [quote] "she would find a way to fulfill that request of not waking up for less than $10,000 a day and even more than that, because if there was anyone who was worth that and more, it's Linda Evangelista." Wintour even asked her to become an American Vogue editor, THE Karl Lagerfeld said that she was "the most famous of all", journalists said she was the "supermodel's supermodel", legendary photographer Steven Meisel said that she is his "muse" and they created magic together - that's how much Linda was highly regarded and universally acclaimed in the fashion industry, you will never see Gigi or Bella Hadid or Kendall Jenner being afforded the same amount of respect and recognition from key fashion figures (like Wintour) that was given to Evangelista.
