A fan-made Back to the Future 4 trailer brings back the original stars and casts Tom Holland in a new role. Written by Bob Gale and directed by Robert Zemeckis, the Back to the Future trilogy was released from 1985 to 1990, following the time-traveling adventures of high school student Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and eccentric scientist Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd), who builds the DeLorean time machine. Though the two sequels weren't as highly regarded as the original, the trilogy has cultivated a dedicated fan following who have long advocated for a fourth Back to the Future film.
While the fan-made Back to the Future 4 trailer imagines Michael J. Fox returning as Marty McFly, it's unlikely he would do so. The actor officially retired in 2021 due to Parkinson's disease, and it would be difficult to imagine anyone else playing his role. The fan-made trailer, however, does provide a serviceable blueprint for how the Back to the Future franchise could continue by shifting the focus to Jake McFly. In recent years, Hollywood has come to rely on nostalgic legacy sequels to classic movies, so the possibility of Back to the Future 4 can never be truly ruled out.

I don't know much about AI but I remember seeing a few commercials on TV within the past two or so years and I saw the same thing in the face which led me to believe it wasn't real but AI generated. I believe the system will use AI in the future to the extent that we will have trouble even knowing what is real and what isn't. Scary stuff for sure if you can't discern it for what it is.

I think this could work as a film with the son of Marty McFly "Jake" played by Tom Holland with original cast (Michael Fox etc.) appearing in cameos as supporting cast. They need a younger Doc Brown Jr. (one of the kids from the flying train - Jules or Verne, now as adults. That would be cool to keep the franchise going. Nobody needs to make this happen, the Trilogy is perfect as it is, should be left alone, won't be the PERFECT trilogy if anyone messes with it. Also a sequel anytime soon can be ruled out due to the fact Zemekus and Gale have control of the franchise and said it won't happen as long as they are breathing. Also I don't see where Jake McFly magically came from, somewhere outta left field I guess, the character never existed in the series, you can't continue a story with a character that never existed. The original trilogy established that Marty and Jennifer had two children Marty Jr. And a daughter Marlene. Who is Jake a 18th cousin 6 times removed who never met Marty, how'd he even meet doc who's off with Clara and family somewhere. Not feasible to me.

Даже по трейлеру видно, что снято ради бабла: актёрская игра на нуле, операторская работа на уровне фильма категории Б, про сюжет говорить сложно, но, уверен, что будет ядрёный бред. Культовым фильм стал именно из-за персонажей с их харизмой, из-за крутой самобытной истории, из-за гениальных создателей, а тут - явно мимо всего перечисленного. Очередное надругательство над бессмертной классикой, которая от такого может и перестать быть бессмертной. Например, Звёздные Войны теперь ассоциируются именно с бездарщиной от Диснея, что вызывает рвотные позывы при одной лишь мысли пересмотреть их (даже включая саму золотую классику - эпизоды IV-VI, которые после ремастеринга потеряли своё лицо). Это - ужасно, кощунственно, варваское надругательство и уничтожение культурного наследия, к сожалению, этот маховик адового трэша уже никто не остановит...
