@@Kaido1299 It's possible that it is currently unavailable in your location. I am from Czech republic and when I ordered it a month ago there were only few avail. Even Alza, the biggest electronic online store didn't have it. Now it's available, but only few pcs. 32GB RAM version is also still not avail. and will be next month, they are promising. It's really a good Notebook. I highly recommend it. Just don't forget to update all the drivers on Intel page.

Why does the bezels look like plastic ? Iv seen many zenbook 14 oled 2024 reviews all of them have a glass bezel. Is that only for top spec model. What's the specs for the model you purchased

I'm a filmmaker and photographer and I'm currently choosing between an m3pro /m3max 14inch macbook pro and a windows laptop (there are very few 14 inch competitors), the only viable competitor I have found is the zenbook 14 pro, but it is from last year and has a proprietary charger. Do you know if there will be a refresh of that one soon? And do you know of any other options I can consider? (powerful for photo and video editing 14 inch laptop, display has to be glossy (matte coatings hurt image quality) and ram has to be either cheap from manufacturer or upgradable.)

Have you looked at the Samsung Galaxy book 3 360 Pro? I was shopping as well and actually purchased the Zenbook 14X OLED today; waiting for it to arrive. I’m going to purchase a MacBook later as well. I’m really interested in the Galaxy Book 3 360 Pro as well but will wait a bit before possibly purchasing it.

@@gabrielandre2139 how comes uou're gonna get the macbook aswell if you already have the zenbook 14x? How is it btw? My zenbook 14 pro comes this week hopefully. I found out that 48GB so dimm gddr5 ram sticks exist meaning I can upgrade it to 64gb of ram for super cheap. The equivalent macbook is above 5 grand which is a hard pill to swallow. Especially when thinking that if I spend roughly 2k for a top cpu and a high end gpu and top amount of ram and ssd in a laptop, I can spend that 2k AGAIN in 2 years and still come in less than the macbook that I would still be holding. Meanwhile the laptop two years from now will be faster. Idk tho, I've thought about this way too much.

I heard it's buggy as hell right now for games and 3d applications, much like their maligned desktop Arc graphic cards. It's s gen 1 product again. The 780m is far more mature.

I agree with you and it became evident to me when I purchased some surface laptop 4 units for my company with the AMD chips and some with intel chips. I experienced really bad performance with the AMD units and no problems with the units containing the intel chips. It wasn’t something I expected so I was flabbergasted.

I rarely take benchmarks as the truth, as OEMs are clever and hand out top-spec machines that may never sell or are not the main sellers. Also, they are clever with benchmarks and boost that first run with higher wattage. So, real-life tests matter, and I look forward to seeing these once the Intel 4 gets released. I think this is not a revolution but more evolution and, therefore, simply catching up with rivals. The extra CPU multicore performance is the sum of a higher thread/core count, and the CPU single-core is more in line with 12-Gen Intel. The bragging about the iGPU is more a factor of three years of subpar iGPU and more like "better late than never". Welcome, as that is! As for the machines being released by Windows's OEMs, they have decided not to bother and instead rely on the new chipset/architecture to sell the latest models. OLED is the default display tech now, so as nice as it is, in Windows-land, nothing is above the norm. It is hard to get excited, and all the hype seems to be the usual marketing from Intel, with the reality being rather so-so. AMD has a tiny bit to worry about, and Apple's massive lead is now just big, but I do not think either will be biting their nails worried about an Intel resurrection. With Qualcomm coming, Intel's problems may get worse before they get better, if they ever do.

That laptop is for basic tasks. No dedicated graphics card, it is equipped with cpu designed for efficiency, ultra portable for it size, and so on. What are you gonna do with 64gb ram on that form factor?! I have a gaming rig with only 16gb of ram. When I open either genshin impact or dead by daylight, together with like 15 tabs of chrome, 15 tabs of edge, outlook, rdp, task manager, ms teams, app that can monitor temperature, the computer barely use 11gb out of 16gb even the game I am playing is set to max settings. You might be a power user for needing that ram size. Go get a desktop or opt to high end laptops.

It looks like plastic. Same with the 14x. The post consumer recycled material does not inspire confidence. I've seen and used multiple eco-friendly products that just chase the sustainabiliy fad for the sake of saving cost. Most composite materials end up being super flimsy. It's a necessary evil for something like the LG Gram trying to be as light as possible, but it doesn't belong in the zenbook line which is supposed to be premium feeling.
