i used windows 8 very briefly as a child and then it became windows 10. ive used windows 10 since its launch and i absolutely LOVED it since its beginning. I never ONCE had an issue with it, no glitches, no blue screens, no random shutdowns, and no over heating. i bought a new pc around a year ago that had windows 11 on it and thought it was going to be better... it wasnt... Since using my new pc that had windows 11 ive had issue after issue after issue. its always either a CTD issue or a complete unwanted shutdown, or being completely slowed down by only a couple things open, not to mention i now cant even UPDATE the damn thing so i can update my graphics drivers!!!! keep in mind when my first computer was built i was probably 10 years old and my computer was built solely to run minecraft and thats it and it ran beautifully, even when the computer turned 9 years old. my NEW computer thats built to run EVERYTHING struggles to play destiny 2 with ANYTHING in the background. im going to the computer store soon and theyre going to do a complete install of windows 10 on it. i dont care if theyre discontinuing windows 10 next year, im keeping that system until a new system (not windows 11) can be provided and be more beneficial to me rather than being a complete nuisance

Excellent review of the LG Gram 17. I just purchased this today direct from LG after checking various reviews and deals. LG itself has the best deal for the week of father's day, $999. I do not need more than 16 ram memory and 1 T of storage. It now has the Intel ARC graphics. Unless you are a developer or serious gamer, this is all anyone needs.

What a stupid design at this version with just ONE sustainable USB (A) port, the other ONE USB-C lives not long enough because of the desolate sensitive construction... 🙄 And the keyboard keys are breaking at too much consumers while a normal, non agressive usage. And RMA companies want 300€ for the complete keyboard with guilt shifting to the consumer. What a fraud... like with the Intel 13, 14th gen.

If you don't want the touch screen or 360 display and extra cost and weight, there is a simple solution. Buy a model that doesn't have this. ASUS designed this entire line of x13 and x16 laptops to be 2 in 1. I was looking for exactly this, the most powerful 2 in 1 in existence. As a software developer this is just amazing, during work the laptop can be folded and put in portrait mode to see more code, it's insanely fast for developing software and when you're done working you can flip the laptop back, turn up the refresh rate and start gaming. You can also put it in tent mode or tablet mode to watch videos on an amazing display. When I want to draw, I can just use the big screen instead of needing an external touch display. Maybe not everyone is a power user who does a lot of different tasks on a computer but for the people who are, this is just amazing that you can do everything anywhere.

I just acquired B9403 . It is good and light in weight. But the reflection from the screen is too much. For the price range I would prefer a Matt looking reflection free screen similar to 5403 series

I have just bought one of these, i wanted it for davinci resolve, but it also is very good at playing Grand Theft Auto. Mine has the RTX4080. A really nice, but expensive laptop. The only thinig I really dont like is the lift up keyboard creates a real dust trap underneath it.

It seems that whenever windows has a successful platform (widows 7 and 10) the following ones are lousy. Windows 10 is great, so I won't be upgrading until I HAVE TO. Probably 12-15.

I think I figured out why the Legion GO has such a high screen resolution (1600p) and high refresh rate (144 Hz): for watching movies as if on a tablet. The higher res will make them look way better, and 144 Hz divides 24 fps perfectly (which is the typical framerate of movies for that "cinematic" look) - therefore they won't look juddery on a 144 Hz display, but smooth. 👍 I got a Legion GO and will be arriving today.

I would not have sold that laptop that did not qualify for Win 11. I would have kept it and put Linux on it. I have already done that many times. - I fixed all the Windows 10 AND 11 problems with a single tool. And yes, Windows 11 is that bad, worse than Win 10 just from watching this video I can see that it is. But there is more not mentioned. Linux Mint. is the "tool" I used to 'fix' it. Yes, I do know Windows since I have used every Microsoft OS from the 1980s on...except for Windows 11, and in a corporate IT environment, while in the IT department as an expert. After decades starting before MS Windows, I got fed up with it, and moved from Windows to Linux Mint 26 months ago. Don't miss Windows at all, and am not going back. Just got a new Framework 16 Laptop - 100% repairable. I ordered mine without any OS, avoiding the Microsoft TAX. frame.work/ and Put Linux Mint Edge on it. Life is good.

I'm looking at the M3 MacBook Pro 16GB and it's priced at around $2700 CAD. I've never owned a Mac so I wanted to venture into that territory a bit. I've owned an Asus (more than 12 years old) and a Dell XPS (7 years old). The Asus one is great and the XPS not as much (definitely not worth the hype). I usually get a laptop and use it for a long time, which is why I'm trying to spend a bit extra to make a good purchase. Now I'm torn between "Should I get the M3 MacBook Pro?" and "Should I get a top of the line Windows laptop (Asus) with better configuration". I guess, I have a bit more research to do. Thanks for the great review!

When I build a new computer I look for the point where the price drops significantly. At this time the Intel 12700k is around $300 while the next step up runs or above $500. Budget has to play a part in the decision process

the real question you should ask would be, would you rather carry a 17" laptop inclusive its accessories weighing up to 5+ kg or would you rather carry a all in one gaming device weighing less than 2 kg in your small backpack?. I mean as a more or less ONLY pc gamer i would rather carry the legion go which gives you the same option as a Laptop without having to carry a brick of charger that weighs twice+ the same as the go on its own. The pros are you dont need no mouse & you dont need to carry all the rest of the usual accessories since you already have controller + mouse combination added onto the legion go (FPS etc scenarios) and Controller base scenarios are already thought of, and to be quite honest i dont commute by bus/train i drive my car to the destination and throw the setup onto a table or lay down next to a outlet. The same applies to either plane/flight or train rides if i absolutely have to use either (bus & train in my country has electrical outlets at every seat) same applies to flights if i absolutely have to pull the go up i carry a portable battery pack with me with a output of 200watt (anker for the w), to me this review seemed biased a lot.
